Thank you Ana for shining a light on this!! I am from South Texas and they have splintered black and brown communities with propaganda between the groups talking about crime, immigration, and the economy. But the crazy thing is both parties don't do well with minorities but Republicans have the talking points but fall short on policy especially for poor minority groups.
The issue is that both parties never try to get the Latino vote!!! So I was actually surprised that trump went to a Latino network. They normally only cater to the black community and feel that that’s enough. We have completely different issues and we are not all the same.
Not so. Democrats always looked for the Latino base and the only reason x45 is doing this is because of all the conservative Cubans in Florida with businesses among a few other states. Latinos need to wake up and smell the café ☕️ real quick because if the x’s goals are met then he’ll kick all of them under the bus 🚌 as per usual just like he threw paper towels to the Puertoricans in PR. I live in Florida and have never ever seen ads targeting Latino groups asking them, "Why is Joe Biden selecting a black woman over a Latina" I'm black myself and I can tell you with certainty the politicians down here, specifically Republicans, do cater to the Latino vote as opposed to the black vote where the black voters are just completely ignored by the Republican party. So, its pretty wild how Ana can come on TV and just totally make things up without being challenged.

Want to hear something sad? My local high school eliminated history classes. Students only get American History in the 9th grade. All other classes are online which means they are basically study halls. We learned during the pandemic that very few virtual classrooms are effective - let alone of there is no educator leading the discussion. I'm honestly worried that science will be next!

I don't know if Education has failed. When I was in HS, I was in AP classes with professors who were determined to show us all sides and I grew up to be someone who doesn't look down or scapegoat communities. I don't know what they teach now in school but I hope it's diversity and inclusion. People can be taught things but still choose to be ignorant.

Facts!! I went to private Catholic school and all of our classes where AP college prep. It was extremely intense and way more difficult than college for me.

I’m Hispanic and Ana’s point happens with every group not just Hispanics and blacks. Something that people tend to not realize is that we have such a different culture that sometimes we do clash and people consider that racism when it’s not. Her point was just stupid, in my opinion. It lacked a lot of depth.

Ana and Sunny can also tell you about anti blackness that occurs in the Latino community remnants of a Spanish colonial rule where there was a caste system where white Spaniards were at the top and black and indigenous people at the bottom. If Trump issues unlawful orders, people in government should refuse to obey them. Every member of the military services has sworn an oath "to defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic." Elected officials and federal employees swear a similar oath.
The folks in the FBI, DOJ, and all Federal law enforcement do.... But that doesn't prevent Trump from appointing sycophants like Barr and Wray.
Refusal would have them be put in jail.
An unlawful order would be obvious to anyone who understands the Constitution and the separation of powers set forth in that document. For example, ordering the U.S. Army to seize voting machines because you lost an election would be a clear violation. Another would be ordering the FBI to arrest citizens simply because they criticized you. The legal defense that Nazis used at the Nuremberg trial was "I was just following orders." That did not work, and they were convicted of their crimes.

He cannot put everyone who opposes his unlawful orders in jail. He cannot put the entire U.S. Army in jail. Who is going to do the arresting? A corps of trump troopers in orange uniforms? It's funny, but objectively , Sunny, Alyssa, and Sara seem to rely mainly on points, Ana now seems to rely on catchphrases, trying to play to the audience. Alyssa and Sara seem to be the only two who don't pander to the audience reaction, Joy and Whoopi tend to rely on a mixture of emotion, personal anecdotes, and facts. Either way they are great to watch. Question: Whether you agree with the person or not, which of the six present the tightest and most concise points. I largely agree less with Alyssa about 70% of the time, but she seems to get to whatever her point is the quickest.
The worst is Sunny.
She gets her point across the quickest because they usually don’t let her speak until the end and/or she receives the most speaking time whereas Sunny is usually speaking the most.

Not all Latinos are conservatives. I believe black people have every right to be in politics including Latinos. I’m not disappointed that Vice President Kamala Harris has the job .I can’t wait to see an lgbtq becomes a President or Vice President, that too will be historical.

Wow. This ‘reporter’ (and I use that term loosely) shows that so many journalists still don’t have a clue on how to cover Trump. Reporter: “You say they’ve weaponized the DOJ. Would you do the same?” The reporter’s question should have been: “What evidence do you have that the DOJ has been weaponized against you?” “It was a jury of your peers in Florida, not the DOJ, who issued one of the indictments against you this year.”
Almost everyone of us know people that don’t vote for any number of reasons. We should try to talk to them about what’s at stake in next year’s election and the fact that if Trump wins, we could lose our democracy and our freedoms. These things will affect everyone whether they vote or not. Don’t pay attention to the polls. We can win next year if we all vote!🗳
