What a nice video. As I sit here in our living room in Virginia, and look back this was wonderful to see the completion taking place of a great institution. Over 23 yrs ago when I moved from Houston, TX- headed for the mid-west, Effie and Bill met me for breakfast that last day. I worked with them and other's on the first board of director's of the CCMH organization prior to leaving. I designed the logo and newsletter materials. Recently, on a trip down to Texas- for my Father, whom is going through treatment of cancer, he was able to go through the museum for the first time. And, around one corner there was an image (collage) of The Texas Legacy, which I designed many years ago. There are images of all our family heritage on both sides, who resided in Texas beginning in 1881. So wonderful to see that hanging. The tour guide said that they did not know who did the piece, well I did. In 1989 it was "Samuel Bangs Award: For Best Historical Award in Texas" through the Texas Graphics Excellence Awards. Great to have that there! Will always remember this group, and you great Czech people in Houston. Thank you Effie and Bill Rosene, and all the many other Founder's I recongnize! Hugs to you all!
