Let There Be Light: DIY Wireless Lightswitch Install

We have a great outdoor light on a pole but we have to walk out into the dark sometimes to flip it on and it’s a pain if we forget to turn it off and have to go back out in the cold. So we decided to upgrade our setup with a wireless switch. It’s a simple thing, but it has transformed our lives. Many times we get back to the property after dark and it’s nice that we can turn the light on as soon as we hit the driveway and the kids can hop right out of the van and not wait for us to get the light turned on or have to walk in the dark to the 5th wheel or bathroom.
