that is one of the best quotes i’ve ever heard, and i was really needing that. ive been wondering why i really want to be called a freak by someone lol, and sasha really helped me to understand it.

I named my daughter after her.
When that season aired I fell in love with her, simultaneously I was pregnant. I told myself that if she won, I was naming my daughter after her. So she did and so did I.
i love the name sasha. and she is so inspiring and lovely.
It's stressing me out how her headdress is smushing her ears down and she's there talking about how she can perform while being in complete pain from her outfit.

I love that her answer to what is hard about drag is how unregulated the industry is and that she tries to support venues who support queens.

It’s interesting how all the portraits done before that hang on the wall, Poppy’s stands out above all, the only one with color. Were the others just drawn with a black sharpee? They look drawn, not painted at all.

I also love this look, especially the headpiece. It's kind of giving the illusion of hair in the sillhouette, but with a weird twist in that it sits so far back (and obviously because it's not hair).
