Jacques Villeneuve: Too Fast For NASCAR

  • Watch Jacques Villeneuve put on a show in Elkhart Lake and Montreal as Carl Edwards, Marcos Ambrose, Danica Patrick and the rest of the NASCAR Nationwide Series bumpkins do their best to get out of his way! He's too fast for NASCAR and he doesn't care - just like Icona Pop says!
Fun Fact: 95% of yellow flags in NASCAR are deployed to slow JV down when he is two seconds a lap faster than everyone else and about to lap the entire field. I love it!

He's a great driver, not gonna lie, to be a F1 world champion you gotta have some skill, but he just needs to calm down when he comes to NASCAR, he just needs to remember he has 4 piston brakes with 700+ horsepower and a 3300 pound car, they're gonna be a little harder to stop than a f1 car, who have carbon ceramic brakes and weigh about half of a NASCAR.
Also, when you are around a regular driver in the series and they are going for a title, just give them room, unless they do something to you, dont do anything to them, and that's where he gets the issues from, he doesn't care who he takes out.
Great driver, just needs to learn patience and not be an asshat sometimes

I remember buying an all access pit pass for a 1990s Long Beach Grand Prix race. I met Michael Andretti, Robby Gordon, Paul Tracy and other drivers. They were all pleasant and allowed me to shake hands and take photos with them. When it came to Jacques Villeneuve, not only would he keep his distance from the fans, but he would not remove his helmet. However, I respected that he was probably annoyed with having people wanting to meet him and that he was probably in his mental zone focusing on racing. No hard feelings. This was a good video.

I still love it,but take some rules out so the drivers won't have to drive and shift with one hand and hold the damn rule book in the other all while still trying not to die.

The guy he wrecked at 1:36 was Patrick Carpentier (Canadian open wheel driver). He intentionally wrecked him. He drove into him as hard as he could... The race where he went from 7 to 1st, well the guy next to him (Carl Edwards) started 8th behind him. He passed Villeneuve on the same lap, but obviously the video doesn't show that. And lastly, he has never won a race in Nascar. The embarrassing part is that the Nascar series he races in is Nascars second division. Kind of like gp2 of nascar. And these guys are used to ovals not road racing. And still beat him.... The only Sprint Cup (1st series) road course start he finished almost dead last
