40 years ago... scary isn't it. Slippery people was constantly played in our local nightclub , and that was my first hearing of this incredible live album. Bought the concert on VHS. , then subsequently on DVD , the BIG suit was something to giggle at , at the time , but this performance remains to this day one of my favourite albums/dvds ever. The album and the film are everything you say they are. Pretty damn perfect. IF you don't catch yourself smiling, moving or marveling at this you're probably clinically dead. The best versions of many of their best songs up to this point. Slippery People is a monster track to dance to. If you've never listened or watched this album, do yourself a favour and give it a go.
Dang David is WAYYY off in Psycho Killer.. He could never hit the high notes, but great voice for such superb music. Time to give it a spin on Spotify !
Remember buying this on video then eventually DVD, just an awesome concert. Don't think I've ever seen another concert where they set up the stage around the band, sublime.
