Omgosh that was FUN 😊 Thank you so much Amry for taking us along. If I had that kind of money to toss around, I absolutely loved (and wanted) that Black/White Gypsy Vanner Paint 🤩🐴. She was STUNNING!! 2nd pick would have been the gorgeous Palomino, the guy in front of you jumped out of his chair when he realized that he had won the bid 🤣. Great fun, beautiful horses, and a lovely golf course. Wish I wasn't old and poor 🤣 LOL Love and Blessings always my beautiful friend ❤️ 🙌 Jennifer

What a really nice sale. Quality all the way around with all they have to offer. The general atmosphere seemed very nice and friendly. Very exciting to see the variety of horses and their training and abilities. Overall some way cool ones and a couple that really caught my eye. Thinking you should consider entering at some point preparing a special one and getting a nice higher price. Just another way to get your name out there making great horses that make happy new owners!

Thank You Amry for sharing this auction it was great to see. I loved it the different breeds and there level of training. I live in Canada and the prices are no were near the prices that a offered for horses in your country. Mind blowing crazy can not believe the prices WOW. If we could get 1/3 to a half for a ranch horse that would be lucky. I think Milo the 100,000 dollar dog could not believe the prices.

Dang! I'll consider myself super blessed if I get a horse that's $7k someday...these people got moneyyyyyy to spend. It's just too bad these expensive horses aren't being shown on footing where you can properly see them slide and rollback (speaking specifically to the Reiner/ranch horses).
That was an awesome sale! I'm totally impressed how nicely the horses were trained & well taken care of. I think you could do that show, Amry! Milo was such a good boy. Fun day!🌵☀️🐶

Just goes to show you how much money is in the world. I know you love training roping horses. But this is a market I would try to get into. If you're going to sell a product. Find a product the wealthy are going to buy.

There was a really nice Jac Daniels Neat son who sold high. We're fortunate to have a Shooter daughter. They're great horses. Makes a ton of sense that he sold so well there. (I believe he was that last one who sold for 70k.)

Oh Amry, what a joy to watch those elite horses. That palomino that went for 38,000 was so breathtaking. I'm sure that you were wishing you had deep pockets of money right about then. Thank you for taking us along. I know my heart fluttered a few times. ❤️❤️🐎❤️❤️
Yes, that surprised me. That shade of palomino isn't common so you'd think that one would have brought more given the high prices on others.
@@Growmap I thought it was low too. I love that deep caramel color on a palomino. Leave it to me to like something rare. If I could still ride and had deep pockets, I would have jumped on that horse bid in a heartbeat. One of my friends used to say you don't pick a horse for color, you pick it for skills and personality. I guess I am just a little backwards. I love watching the auctions though. Amry is giving us a real taste of Wickenburg and the horse life. I'm enjoying every minute of it. She puts a smile on my face and joy in my heart.
@@sherylhypes6290 Yes, I agree. The golden palominos are very eye-catching and that color was really flashy. But I like buckskins even more. Since I live in deer country, I decided against having a buckskin. I once had an old buckskin Driftwood grandson. So my thing is bays and bay roans.

Amry I would love to see you do a training video showing how you train your roping horses to sit back on their back legs and then turning sideways to stop. I doubt I explained that well but hopefully you get the idea. If you already have a video please direct me to it.
Hi Fred! I would love to make a video to help! Are you talking about when the rope horses slide stop? Or are you referring to when a head horse really sits down and turns to face the steer at the end of a run? I think I have a general idea of what you mean but might need another explanation 😊 thanks!

I'm really surprised that very dark palomino didn't bring more than that given how much some of the others sold. Not everyone can scan a QR code. Some of us use desktop computers. How about a link to the sale page in the description?

Hi! The buckskin with the huge blaze was by GUNS R FOR SHOOTIN out og HOLLYWOOD FOOTPRINTS (HOLLYWOOD DUN IT) and the first palomino went back to SMART LITTLE LENA and GENUINE DOC. The second palomino at the end was an own son of WIMPY'S LITTLE STEP and went back to SHINNING SPARK on the bottom ☺️☺️

This was interesting. I'd like to have seen some of the horses that sold nearer average price.
I've thought about getting a horse since I retired from farming a couple of yrs back, but have been hesitant because my son who teaches high school/college age head/healers to rope and advises them on fine tuning their horses doesn't have time to train a kid horse for his own little grandsons. He has one picked out but his time is limited between working with young ropers and his job. It's something I need to do without his advice and counsel. I wouldn't mind putting some money into a well trained animal I could insure in case of an accident.
Animal ownership is never simple. I grew up on a cattle ranch, been there, done that, got the teeshirt!
Hi there! Thanks for the feedback, I will show more average horses next time ☺️ I can understand that! I do think if a person has the funds then investing in a nice well trained horses is WORTH IT!! All the hard work is done and you can enjoy them. I guess even the best horses might need a little tune every now and again ☺️
@Amry Palmer Yes, tune ups often required especially if they're not ridden daily. I expected to be challenged occasionally, even by my dad's well behaved cow ponies who went weeks to months between usage.
I really hate people that have to bring their dog to something like a sale!!!!!

I am not sure but I do know there are a lot of them that come from out of state for these sales. They will travel around. I have some Mennonite friends that come from Missouri for the Rancho Rio Horse Sale ☺️
