Lea Righes It looks like he's using sennheiser e604's on the 2 high toms and kind of looks like the e604 on floor tom as well but I can't be certain. Snare mic looks like Shure sm57. There are triggers on the kicks but not sure if he's using them to trigger samples or not. Can't see what the overheads are at all.

This genre of metal's been around since the early 2000's and this song is from an album from 2011. Krimh's been with them forever at this point and he's a great drummer.

I feel like there's no comparing among drummers. Everyone's FUCKING killing it in their own band. One of my personal faves is Mario of Gojira. Everyone has their own style and that's what makes them so good.

All I can say that I love your Intensity and dig how you close your eyes when drumming...I'm learning right now and I seem to drum a little better when I close my eyes and just focus on the beats of music.

I was a huge metal head growing up and barely listen to it now. I'll check these drum videos out every once in a while now days to see sick metal drummers and they all the sound the same. This guy's parts are way cooler than most drummers you hear in this time of the metal.

Man, Krimh, you DEMOLISHED this drum cover! Amazing work, and congratulations on joining Septicflesh. I will offer one bit of advice to you however; while I rank you as being one of my favorite drummers and Septicflesh as being one of my favourite bands, I have to say that the only thing I hope you can improve is the dynamics in the 'softer' or 'slower parts'. During the chaotic sections of the song, I think you perform better than Fotis does, but I think some finesse and restraint would really bring it to the next level. Regardless, great job. I could not dream to perform it better myself. Cheers
