They didn't say they don't understand it, they said they can't hear it, because you can't. Only when the music picks up can you really hear anything, otherwise it just sounds like voices being played in a tin can. The audio in the dynamite dance practice was a lot clearer because of the space it was filmed in, not because it was in English. Which the guy on the left fully explains in the video. YOU just created a barrier because you refused to understand what they were saying.

The audio in these studios varies for sure, but to be fair even if the audio was clearer you wouldn't get much more info than what you got since it's Korean. You can hear the bits of them saying "DNA" and "I love us" even with poor audio quality because your ears naturally picked up the English. On the flip side because ARMY has heard this song a billion times we can clearly hear what they are saying and are basically singing along lol. Its a combo of both things happening.
I’ve noticed in different dance studios that BTS uses the stereo system is different. The white room they’re in for the DNA practice is a very big room, so the echo can be a bit worse

a big reason to why some of the dance practise song can't be heard well is depending on 1, wich practice room is used. larger rooms will make the sound bounce off the walls more and make it difficult for the microphone to pick up, and 2, if they have decided to add the song as a layer over the video ( they have done this in some of the practice video wich is why in some of the videos, you can hear it as if it was an MV). I personally have a hard time hearing the song in the back in some of the videos so I understand where you guys are coming from. Have a nice day! ^^
I think you can get one song better bc it’s in English. It hits our ears easier. I don’t really notice the difference between these two videos bc I know DNA so well now that the acoustic differences between those two rooms doesn’t have an impact on my perception of the song.
I want to give you a little explanation for the sound on older practice videos : in older videos the company didn't have like their own practice space, it was rented, then with time, and all the income BTS brought to the company, finally the company moved to a better and bigger building(supposedly this new building even have an even hall/night club where J-Hope had his listening party) that meant that now BTS and the members (and also all other groups under Hybe) have a specific practice room with top of the line equipment , so that's one of the main differences. I read somewhere that, apparently, BTS practice room is private and really guarded, which makes sense after all the majority of what Hybe is today is thanks to BTS and their success. In short, what you hear, or don't hear is the difference in budget 😂. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜🤟🇲🇽 🐰Golden By the way i want to point out that I actually see a lot of growth in E-man, he really has made an effort to be a little more open minded and accepting of others cultures and peoples, we all , as society, need to keep on working on this, but at least he is now actively working on it , so yeah, growth. 🤟🇲🇽
I heard it loud and clear just a little echos. it's very normal for the dance practice videos to sound echos tho since the room is big. but there are some dance practices videos that they put music on top of the video but personally i don't like it that way you can't hear any of their footsteps or their heavy breath then it sound less of the PRACTICE for me (idk how to describe but it sounds too perfect for just a practice) BUT since i saw ya'll reacted to some of the dance peactice videos and always have problems with the sound. i recommend you watch either OFFICIAL music video (if they have) or colored-code lyrics video BEFORE watch dance practice video. i think it will help so much bc i think one main reason ya'll can't hear the music that well cause ya'll never listen to it before and of course it's in korean (mix with english) so you will understand very little from this song.
You need to watch some thing with the freaking lyrics in order to decide what’s going to be in the video. None of the dance practices have lyrics so even if you could hear the song you’re not gonna know what it’s about.
