    Thank you for this video. I have been nervous to try this method purely based on the amount of strain and weight that is carried by the strap. Adding a rivet gives extra confidence. Much appreciated.

    My strap connector is 1 1/2” wide. The center line is 3/4”. So if I mark 3/4” from the center I don’t get the triangular looking shape. Could it be 1/4” from the center mark instead of 3/4”?

      You would need to adjust the measurements to accommodate the 1 and a half inches if you mark your bottom line at 1.5" and your top line 1.25 but centred so it's even you should get the triangle shape
