    I have watched this video over and over as I set up my battery monitor. Super helpful.

    Tinning wires into screw terminals is a bad idea as solder is soft, and with vibration, can flow over time so contact pressure can be lost - it's much better practice to use bootlace ferrules, which also provide some strain relief to the wires against strands fracturing due to bending.

    Excellent. Filled in a lot of gaps in my understanding. Been driving my build for a couple of weeks now but for a non-engineer, it takes time to connect the dots. Thank you.

    Great video and good information. I have a battery pack with 144V and 82AH driving a 20KW motor. Just finished my build, so now ill set up my meter. Thank you

    This was great. Would you guys do a contactor box breakdown? Like what each component is going to and what gets a fuse and gauge wire? I've read the diagram but when I see builds it looks different. Thought it would be cool to have a good breakdown.

    for my low voltage alarm with output extender i am unable to change the cutoff voltage from 165 volts, each time it is written to the device it is changes right back to 165. did i miss a setting or input?

    cool gauge but I am 110% lost in terms of it's setup and configuration I really hate multifunction button displays

    Your controller should be engineered to go into V Cutoff when V min is reached.

    2:02 line resistance? I don't know how it works but in theory it is measuring voltage, it should have high input impedances as any voltage measuring device.

      High input impedance is relative.
      What is the input impedance of you DVM?

      @jorditribo94 4 года назад

      @@honthirty_ greater than 1 megaohn, line resistance worst case could be 1 ohm..
