Hey everyone back with Trailmakers! Today we are competing in another car gliding stunt challenge except this time the car must be a 2 in 1 glider! Each person takes turns setting a stunt that everyone else must attempt, whoever fails is the loser!

I would love to see a total time trial where you need to have a vehicle that can succeed at 3 different types of challenges. But build time counts against you. So you have a normal car race, then somthing with flying then boat?

Idea for scrap mechanic challenge: one heel vehicle with as many sawblades and drills as needed, but it needs to complete a course without using the lift even once. So you want to find a way to get the wheel pressing against a surface on any side you can roll onto.

I would love to see a total time trial where you need to have a vehicle that can succeed at 3 different types of challenges. But build time counts against you. So you have a normal car race, then somthing with flying then boat?
You start a clock at the beginning and each player pauses their clock after they are done building currently, then race starts and you add your race time to the total time. Then everyone is given a chance to modify their build between the next race but that time is added to the total time. And repeat.
This would allow for a few different strategies, and interesting pressures. You could build fast and hope your short build time makes up for race time, you could sink a but of time in the start to make something able to compete in all 3 or modular enough it is quick to swap.
(as extra challenge players don't know what the next time trial will be till after the current one ends, giving the first place player a few extra moments to think about what they are going to have to do, as you build time must start before the last place player starts theirs)

Why not just have a set time to build a vehicle to start the race then say players may freely build and modify as they go along.
It would force them to choose whether to spend time building or not.
What would make it best is if they made it a regular event with fan made courses, forcing them all to build as they progress through an unknown map.

Try catapult golf in scrap mechanic
Catapults must drive to the balls and reload themselves. Once the ball is lifted off the ground the wheels may not move until shot is fired, not even to aim.
Vehicles are allowed one pusher powered by a single piston that may be adjusted accordingly as it is used as a putter.

Anyway wanted to ask you something, why don't you do like ScrapMan and use your facecam? I personally find youtubers who show their face in their vids to be a bit more interesting, for example if ScrapMan didn't use a facecam I wouldn't find him as interesting

How about a Challange, where you have to make a transforming vehicle, but it has to be better at the thing the other transformation is supposed to do than that other transformation. So, let's say a car and a submarine, but the submarine has to be a faster car than the car and the car has to be a faster submarine than the submarine.
