When I was a kid, mom would take me into town to run errands and there's an ice skating rink on the downtown mall. I would be like, five years old and every time I passed the windows I would see the figure skaters and would hang onto the windowsill in complete awe. It was rather common for mothers to prop their kids up as they admired the skaters through the windows. I wonder what it would've been like to look up and notice you have a flock of little kids gawking at you in admiration? Man, I admired figure skaters. I had a birthday on ice when I was 9 and daydreamed about being a figure skater and when my mom 'woke me up', I was gliding along on one foot like in my daydream and I had no training whatsoever. Mom put me in a class, but I was a stubborn child and I never looked back. But now I'm watching you guys and I remember being that little girl looking in through the windows. That awe and admiration. I'm 25 now and I haven't looked back since I was 9, but... there is something remarkable about being on the ice. I work everyday, but watching you guys makes me want to try again. I'm not a child now. I'll pay for my own lessons. I won't give up this time unless I discover that I actually don't like it. But I kind of doubt that. Thank you.
This is the best blog yet! I especially loved the awesome shot from Alex and Yuzu to Maia and Gracie to Satoko to Kolyda. The audience in Boston looked huge. Congrats on your medal and a phenomenal season!!!!
Great job on the vlog! It'd be great if you guys did a vlog chronicling your daily training regimen or even the creation of your next season's programs (working on FW, coaches, choreographers, off-ice training, etc.) I know that seems boring to you since it's basically your life and you did a Team USA article (with pictures!) about that, but for fans who don't have any connection to the skating world, we are really curious and interested in that sort of stuff as most people aren't Olympic-level athletes and are curious to know the discipline and work behind what we finally see at competition. Also, those things are very inspiring to people while they work hard at their personal endeavors.
I actually got to attend of the events here, but I didn't get to see you guys, unfortunately. Love all your recent performances though! I've been following them as much as I can. Congratulations on your US Nationals Gold!!!!! I've had you guys picked as my team for the 2018 Olympic gold since last year and you just keep on getting better and better!
I'd love to see practice videos or off ice work that you do! It is so inspiring to see skaters work very hard, I think a video displaying your work ethics would be very cool! And congratulations on a job well done this season! Next season will be even better!!! And thanks again for the hug Alex at the medal ceremony :)))
I love this! Congrats again on world championships! I love the snapchat battles with Charlie 😂😂😂 I think I've requested this before but I would love a day in the life video showing your training, etc when you are at home
Congratulations on your amazing season guys!! You're the best and you're incredible! Can't choose a part, I loved the entire video! Love all your videos, they're really great! Thanks a lot for taking the time and the effort of doing them although you're so busy, it's so nice and kind from you! Wish the best for you two! Love you! =) ♡☆
Dang! You guys are awesome! (Just so you know, I'm new to youtube and just started vloging [don't know if I spelled that right!]) Major fan! love you guys!
Amazing video! You both were so incredibly consistent and wonderful all season..a total joy to watch over and over (in a completely non-creepy way..LOL), cute how Gabriella and Guillaume were like 'youtube?' Comment d'it on 'youtube?' (not a direct quote..) all innocent and unknowing.. Are they as nice as they seem? You and Maia are universally beloved, I see you and they (them?) getting along well.. Curious no Madison and Evan in your vlog (touring Harvard)? Am I crazy but has Zach Donohue reinvented himself as a slightly stand-off ish faux French Canadian who doesn't have time for pursuits like ShibSib vlogs? When you see him again this summer/fall. just be like "Qu'est ce-que tu fait, BIEETCH" (what's going on, bieeetch!) Stay awesome! 22 months until ShibSibs feasting on the #GoldenPeyeongchang = Best.Dish.EVER (InternetClever? who can say?)
I hope the crowd supported all the skaters no matter what country and the practice rink actually doesn't look too bad . I have a story to tell about that rink. I am surprised they didn't open up the BU rink on Comm Ave for all the World class skaters.
my best friend and i have been trying forever to find out the name of the group that opened the gala (the group that skated to dropkick murphys). anyone?
seeing alex being like a big brother to yuzuru warms my heart so much i need to breathe
I'm actually shipping Alex x Yuzuro. Don't kill me! hahahah
Best one yet guys, keep it up.
+ISU Skating Thank you!!!
