Its amazing how a 1/4" in pickup position can totally change the sound of an instrument. The noticeable difference between the 60s and 70s bridge pickup sounds is very surprising. That's a very cool feature I might add; thanks for posting.
I’ve always loved the sounds of a musicman and a jazz bass.. And I’ve got a great MM/J Nordstrand configuration, but while the “stingray” bridge is fantastic the split-coil + Jbass combo isn’t really like a jazz bass sound. I think this Haeussel 60s/70’s pickup really gives a similar stingray sound but with better single coil bridge & far better neck+bridge j-bass sounds! I think this design provides a better alternative to Delano’s Hybrid system & similar MM/J models for best of both worlds versatility!!

Hi!!!
This 60/70s humbucker is a Haussel custom project for Maruszczyk basses? I love it!
we can build them again
Killer as usual!
After my first Maruszczyk this is going to be the next one!! instead of parallel wiring is it possible to wire the pickup in series?
yes
