I feel like in the meet-up, the movie handled it much better. It kind of tells you how much they care for each other while the novel kinda ignores that as if they forgot all about their relationship. Of course, it's just my opinion.
They're both really lovely!
Honestly, though, I do prefer Movie Ballister (man that guy is sweet)

I prefer the comics. They made Blackheart such a pansy in the movie. In the comic he was steadfast and decisive about his villainy. That's why Nimona wanted to work for him. He wanted to bring down the establishment for their lies and so did she!
