This is a bit of an unusual episode in that two of the stars aren't actually really on screen. Pedro Pascal was working on another project so most of his suit work was done by Brendan Wayne, John Wayne's grandson. So later on in the series when Pascal does more of the suit work what you are watching is Pedro Pascal imitating Brendan Wayne who was imitating John Wayne's style of walking. The other is Misty Rosas who is Jon Favreau's good luck charm for motion capture and suit acting. Nick Nolte does the voice of Kuiil and the face of the character is based on him. Misty did all the suit work and got really good at subtle cues to let the SFX people when to do things. This is what started Carl Weathers late career resurgence. He was retired before he came back to do Mando. Emily Swallow plays the Armorer and has spent the past several years appearing in costume at the drop of a hat for charities, hospital visits, and fan conventions.

This show, at least the first couple of seasons, is what Wandavision was for Marvel shows. That is, flagship. Top-shelf. Both universes have, uh, problematic issues in terms of quality imo, with the other shows offered in their universes. All that said, Pedro Pascal and Werner Herzog (they guy with the beskar) have done great service to the SW verse with their contributions (he convinced the showr unners that baby yoda should be practical and not cgi). For more Pedro, check out the drug crime thriller Narcos. For more Werner, check out his documentaries "Encounters at the End of the World" and "Cave of Forgotten Dreams" (and one episode of Parks & Rec).
