I am starting to look forward to Manga Mondays! I just love your videos! My secret affection oh no! That’s awful to hear cause I loved volume one so much. Wish we got it longer 😢 I am character based as well so I completely understand what you are saying Blackguard has a male male couple? Is it bad I want to read it more now. Lol Agree with you on Last Gender and the other ones I will read for sure!
Aww that’s so nice of you to say thank you so much!! 🥹 Ahh yeah same I just loved volume 1 and yet 2 left me so disappointed, but that’s just me maybe it won’t feel that way for you! I’m curious what you’ll think when you end up reading it I mean Blackguard is interesting just plot wise felt messy and unfocused as it went, but like I said I still had a fun time reading it! 😅 Being a sci-fi with male male couple in it I hadn’t expected it, but I loved the inclusion and I wanted to see more of them and their relationship develop rather than other characters taking focus away, but yeah lol🤣
Your thoughts of A Witch's Love at the End of the World are the exact same as my own. I actually kind of forgot all about it until it was brought up here lol. I like shorter series but sometimes they can end up being too short.
I wasn't a big fan of blackguard by ryo hanada but I LOOOOVE the series Devil's Line by the mangaka. It's longer and the characters & story are great. A high recommendation from me. I would say read the first few volumes though and see how you feel. It starts off seeming like just a simple romance but it definitely evolves with action, political intrigue, and a large intertwining cast of characters. There's also lgbt characters in it as well 👌 I'll also say that the art is kinda rough at first so if you're not into it I swear the art style gets better eventually haha
tbh i think my secret affection is as long as it should be. a longer expending would be unnecessary when we only have those 2 character who pretty much was obvious they liked each other right from vol 1 ( i didnt enjoy it as much as i wish. both vol 1 and vol 2 ) the concept is unique but i just feel like it was written pretty bland and beside the concept the story wasnt much different than normal high school shojo.. again thats just my opinion its a good day once mizz manga posts!
Yeah, I guess I was just hoping that if given more vols it would have been a more interesting story, I really loved the concept and art, but as it stood it ended up just being pretty bland typical shojo in the end in my opinion too…🥲 Aww that’s so sweet, and thank you! 😊

Totally, I like a good short series but unfortunately sometimes they’re just too short 😅
I have been so curious of the series that ended up being your number one!
Come visit me and you can read it! 😉🩷
