Yes, I love world series rematches and the history of the game. Can you name any players in that 1954 world series?
At this rate the wild card is a possibility for the Giants, but I’m just happy at our young talent shining more than anything.

As a Giants fan, we got away with one today. Can't count on Ramirez and Kwan going 2 for 10 again and you can't count on only giving up 2 runs on 16 base runners. Giants are good against relief pitchers but your staff is on a different level. Going to be a fun series.
@@godocs11 You guys stepped up under pressure, the Guardians get a lot of baserunners every game just because the style of offense they run. Most of our losses look like this game to be honest.

@@JamesMcInerney-s1v Giants are subpar this year. Still likely to finish under .500 for the season. Giants 8-3 in the last 11 games. Taking the series against the Dodgers, Braves and the first game against arguably the best or second-best team in the AL. That is surprising.
@@jenniferhamels1176They’re doing all of this while having an injured team though. Most of the starting pitchers aren’t even available. They’ll do just fine, especially fully healthy later on
@@jenniferhamels1176while I’m not going to bet on them finishing above .500 you should acknowledge they’ve been decimated by injuries especially in the rotation. Also, the first half of the their schedule was significantly harder than what they have after the all star break

Gardians won today but yeah congrats to the giants this game
Guards should have gotten more runs scored, they blew mostly all of there chances to score they were double played 3 times and left over 10 men on base. And were 0/11 with runners in scoring position.
Bailey, Conforto, Ahmed, and the bullpen were the heroes. Giants adept at making the most out the few hits they get...
I was at the game! Gg to the Giants! I thought we might have pulled it off in the bottom of the 9th.

Damn. Guards SP Tanner Bibee...did not look like an all-star or ace pitcher last night with an awful 1st inning. 3 Costly errors (2 not mentioned in the box score) and several golden opportunities to take the lead. Cleveland should have won this game.
Total disappointment for us Guardians fans, last night. 😑😔
Guardians should have won this game with the absurd amount of baserunners they had, Great clutch pitching and amazing defense by the Giants players. Good Game!

lololol I’m a giants fan but Naylor is on my fantasy team. This game was a win win because the giants won, naylor hit a homer, and double plays don’t count against me

in that way, the Giants should be 162-0...
Pretty evenly played tbh. Not a single “break” in sight. I give the Giants the edge for obviously scoring more runs. Thats how you win a baseball game. They also got clutch ground ball double plays, which is what this staff does best.
Giants probably will still lose like 9-1 today for no reason.
A few defensive mistakes by the Guardians cost them the game.
