HWAA is about the range of emotions you feel while going through a breakup. The song expresses the feelings of pain, anger, and healing. In a radio show interview, Soyeon mentioned the concept for HWAA, and “I Burn” came from a conversation she was having with fellow member Shuhua
and it means both in chinese

yeeeees, 火花 is chinese! 火 is pronounced as 'huō' and means 'fire' and 花 is pronounced as 'huā' and it means 'flower', so the title is kind of like a word play of these two similar sounding words, like after the winter, the fire will ignite and the flower will bloom again
