This sounds simply incredible! I had an OB-6, but never really bonded with it, so I sold it. As the Andromeda is my primary synth, I could easily get the OB sounds out of it with Filter 1, which is "OB-inspired." This one short video has my mind reeling on the Prophet 6, as I just can't believe how good it sounds.
Prophet 6 is an underrated synth. Really awesome. It suffers because from failed comparisons to the Prophet 5, but honestly, it's really amazing at doing its own thing.
@@danielcraighead6901 Yeah that's awesome, I haven't tried it yet. I actually really like the Slop knob, I feel like it does what I often waste an LFO to do (to make that bit of wobbly tone to a sound). On my P5 I use the vintage knob as sort of a "set and forget".. like if I use the Rev 2 filter, I pull the Vintage knob to 2. Or if I use Rev 3 filter, I move it to 3. Aside from that I really don't mess with it. (Where the P6 slop is more of a creative control)
@@auxorion The 6 has inherited the "vintage" knob function of the P5 remake via a new firmware. How would you describe the difference between rev2 and 3 filters?

Hey man sorry for the late reply but yes the reverb is from memory Valhalla Shimmer. Everything else is the Prophet.
