I'm 70 yrs old, so my first science guy was Mr. Wizard on black and white TV. (& RUclips now) Then Bill Nye. Now Mark continues a valuable legacy. Good on ya Mark.
Fun fact: Paper clips float on the water due to the surface tension, but hydrophilic substances (meaning "liking water", so the water forms an even film instead of beads) actually also float on water due to another effect that was discovered back in 2006 by the University of Washington. When the water comes into contact with such surfaces, it forms an unimaginable tiny negatively-charged layer around the surface of the object that is called the "exclusion zone", as it excludes basically any impurities. Instead of H2O, it's in a different arrangement of atoms to form a jelly-like substance with a net structure, therefore is in the form of H3O2. It is sometimes even strong enough to form a small bridge between 2 beakers, but it's very hard to do. However, you can still see that phenomenon when, for example, looking at droplets falling on a water surface (they bounce on the surface for a bit before merging together).
