13:20 This is one of the most satisfying shortcuts in the souls series IMO. This isn’t the hardest area ever, but it’s pretty long and there are a ton of enemies to deal with, along with the gunfire. Having a shortcut right near the first lamp to spend those blood echoes is amazing
Thanks I had no idea!!! I gave up after 10 min the first time I picked up the game. Now during quarantine I decided to try again and when I finally unlocked the first shortcut or beat the first boss I understood why it was great
TIP to kill the Hunter enemy EASY: -Approach him from the stairs that come up to his area so you get his attention. -Do NOT engage him, but wait for him to come to you. -If you mainly stay between the border of the terrace and on the lower zone (so, basically in the wooden stairs) he will come at you but will NOT come down. That area is safe from the gattling gun so you have one thing less to worry about. -Let him come to the edge, dodge his shots or attacks or whatever, charge attack him. DO this 5/6 times and youre done!
I started a new game because it was so long ago since I last played and I wasn't that far anyway. Still took me quite a while too to find the path. Funny thing: On my first time I didn't have any problems at all (think I would've remembered that xD).
Attention people this guide is almost perfect except the fact that he missed 1 item which is the rifle spear I believe which can be found when you get to the secret area at 5:40 when you get the chest and the item as you go up the stairs keep in the look out for a dead body before you reach the one lying on the chair and you'll find it there.
You can also get the Gatling guy attention and get back on the ladder. He will walk toward you while you’re on the ladder and fall to his death either way.
The guy shooting the Gatling gun dodged twice off the edge once we started fighting lmaoooo barely even touched him and I was like “oh this guy is kinda hard” *yeets self off edge*
I really liked this walkthrough. I have been playing through the level, was wondering how to proceed, and wanted to make sure I hadn't missed anything significant before I moved on. And this video moves VERY quickly through the area but shows everything you need (except the swordspear, I guess, according to a comment below, but the guide took me to that area and it was almost impossible to miss so I got it anyway), and it was a great help for me. You do, you need to reload the area by either dying, going to hunter's dream and coming back or just restarting the game. His item drop will be sitting next to his empty gattling gun
Before the 3rd boss there's a spot right next to the end of the stairs that allows you to summon Alfred - this is for anyone who has a hard time beating this beast. Just to remind you that every time you summon help, it'll cost 1 insight, and you have to meet Alfred first, NOT killed him in order to summon him.
Not sure how hard it would be for you to do, but if you could let us know about important items within the area in the description of the video it would really help out

7:13 u can dash front once as soon as you climb the ladder and just shoot him off the building then leave the game and come back and the loot should be up there
Perfurador Rosa Ymir’s easy, from the start run towards the tower and make the drop. Sprint past the hunter and you can just make your way up there with some ladders.
Lol can't believe I've been playing the same bit over and over like a douche, literally sprint to tower climb up two ladders and knock gunner twat off the edge.
I somehow got to old yahrnam waaaayyyyy later than I was intended to. But the good part about that is that I was super strong and killed everything and the boss easily.
Im just on my 2nd playthrough 8 years later and in this video showed me how to get the church outfit which i could never figure out how to get in the 1st playthrough sneaky that was haha thank you for the help
One thing you didn't mention is that in the rafters by Djuraa the gun Hunter there are actually explosive cocktails you have to break the wood handle and it will fall and kill most enemies there and those that survive will be scared of the flames
Think you missed the Rifle Spear, it's in the house with the chest, a little bit befor you pick up the suit, it's kind of against a wall, on the floor . You speeded through it, but it was worth mentioning, i missed it the first time . :D
Easy way to kill the hunter on the tower: Kill Dark Beast Paarl. Come in through that sealed door. Climb the tower. Tell him you won't hunt the beast. Walk around his back two handing a Hunter's Axe. Charge R2 and hit him. Run to him before he gets up. Charge R2 again. Should knock him off the tower. You also appear to have missed the item in the first room with the lamp.
@@mok9709 If I'm not mistaken, you need to kill both the Blood-Starved Beast and Darkbeast Paarl, and then go up the tower without killing any monster on the way

You can actually befriend the hunter if you kill the bloodstarved beast and use that lantern to meet him again, he gives you a gesture and I think some other stuff.

I got a problem. I accidentally knocked the gunner off the tower right away and the badge somehow ended up stuck in the air where I can't get it. Should I just jump off the tower and try to grab it before I die? Don't have a better plan.
Dude you forgot arguably the most important item here (a weapon) the Riflespear. It's right next to where you are at 6:30 - right after you go up the stairs to the your right. Great video though. I would've missed the fire paper without ya. :)
According to my chart your suppose to be able to get to graveyard of darkbeast from old yharman then after that you go to hypogean gaol. Is this wrong? i couldn't find a path there.
Kill her. The reward is mostly the same I believe. Might miss a gesture or a ruin or something but the whole point of the quest line is to get her sword and outfit available to buy. You can get that killing her
Metal Gear Solid: The Phantom Pain Bloodborne, for my level of skill, requires me to redo levels over and over to build up stats which requires patience and other things, like the ability to endure boredom. When you rescue a bionics engineer in MGS he makes you a bionic arm, lot better than bone ash.
OnTargetGaming there's another way to kill gattling gun guy. Once you are up there, fire a few rounds at him and that should push him off the ledge, reset and come back to get the item

The npc that took you some time died instant after i found The hidden path and opened The door next to The building where The machinegun-guy is. I died trying to defeat him on top.. Respawned and just took a direct sprint to The opened door and climbed down , The npc came running after me and fell down and died!
It would be a lot more helpful to have the enemies shown. Because this is why I came looking for a walkthrough. I want to see how to work with these freaking ass hole enemies
Nope your wrong it's a 98 percent only you forgot you can burn the large monster that hanging at the ceiling and you forgot the rifle spear wow you forgot 2 things oh and if you killed the dark beast paarl or meet him and go back to the dream and go to where you killed the blood starved beast and then your behind old yharnam so go to DJURA the Gatling gun guy you can talk to him and get the badge and the "Brush of Dust" gesture I cleared up the things you missed. Yeah I missed 3 straight gunshots, had him dodge 2 saw cleaver swings then he was like "aight imma head out" and jumps off the tower

Had the same problem. I restarted the game and when I was back at the tower the item was right next to the gun where I could pick it up.
