Morgan, your videos are always beautiful, but your Vlogmas content has been exceptional. I look forward to your video every day. There’s so much genuine warmth that radiates from both you and Landon. As someone with chronic illness, Christmas can be a time of making plans and then having to cancel or miss out. It’s been so lovely to know I can watch you do so many lovely simple things for the holidays that never make me feel like I’m not doing enough. Thanks for sharing your life and sweet spirit with us! Thank you for your wonderful message Dana ❤️ I have a tendency to be a people pleaser too, but I am slowly learning to be myself and discover my own dreams. I spent a lot of my life chasing other people's dreams because of expectation and pressure, as well as feeling lonely because I lacked true connection in friendships. Watching Morgan's videos was actually a big catalyst for me re-thinking who I am and what my dreams are 😊

I can't understand you losing subscribers. I look forward to this vlogmas every day. I will miss seeing you, Landon and Roo every day when it's over. But not yet!
Dana's message rings true - we are kindred spirits here, and what Morgan has created has not only become bigger than the videos, but they also live on long after they are posted. Messages and moments and memories, sharing life events and lessons that I know we all keep in our hearts.
As for losing subscribers, I've heard from other content creators that this always seems to happen around the holidays. Maybe people feel overwhelmed with everything else going on, I'm not sure. Regardless of the reason, hopefully they will return. I know that the RUclips algorithm is a fickle beast, and can directly contribute to subscriber loss, based on what it decides to show in a person's feed. Morgan, if you know of any hints or tips we can do to raise the algorithm numbers (like staying until the video is over, not leaving a few seconds before), please let us know and I'm sure we'd all be happy to help!
I'm now going to vacuum and dust the house, mop the kitchen floor, clean the toilets and enjoy the heck out of doing these chores. (Aaaargh!) Thank you, Morgan, for another delightful video. I'm not a fan of Christmas (Aaargh!) but each Vlogmas of yours has lifted my spirits. You do important work.

After listening Dana's message I want to say that she's right, I've been myself all my life I just couldn't be a people pleaser, even at a young age 😅. I don't have a lot of friends but that's because I'm an ambivert person, however, the friendships that I do have value me as who I am and never demanded for me to change. I'm happy about that aspect of my life, I meant to be friends with kindred spirits ❤.

I LOVE Jigsaw puzzles too. I have one from Kate, at The Last Homely House, on You tube, and it is of her stained glass window in her kitchen. It is such a lovely puzzle, with 500 pieces, but she made them bigger than usual. My Mother always had a jigsaw puzzle going at Christmas, but this is the first one I have actually been doing on my own. My parents passed a long time ago now. It is sooo rewarding when you find the right pieces, and this puzzle is tricky around the edges, so will take some time to completer I think. I LOVE your Roo, and I love the way he holds his tail up on his happy walks with the two of you. He is such a loved dog, and he sooo loves you back. My Madge, has her own sofa, as she is a greyhound, so has a long body and needs the space! But she has fleeces over the cushions, so I can wash them. Thank you for yet another wonderful video of you three. xxx

What a lovely cozy day! Thank you for sharing it with us. I enjoy how an ordinary day can also be beautiful and really enjoyable - thank you for showing us that. We do not have to do something big or extravagant to have a beautiful day. We can go for a walk, sit in a cafe, work a bit, do chores and build puzzles. Life is beautiful. 😊
When you were talking about life is never ending chores, it reminded me of a conversation I had with one of my good friends from High School. She is now a mom and constantly struggles to just keep the house clean - so we've came to the realization that it isn't helpful to set a goal to have a clean house (or to always have a clean house), because it is a never ending goal. Instead, we just encourage each other to clean something per day / week - it's okay if the whole house isn't clean, but the one thing you've focused on...at least that will be clean for a little while. I always also remind her that a house is a place people live in, so of course it is going to get dirty and that's okay - it's not a bad thing, but rather a sign of life / of living.
I hope you enjoyed the sunrise the next morning. Here is South Africa we had our longest day yesterday, and now the days will start to get shorter again😅.

Oh my GOOSE- I love your cleaning advice. I'm also a mom and struggle so much with the clean house aspect. This way of looking at it would be such a breath of fresh air mentally!

I think we all are way too hard on ourselfs and our expectations of what a house should look like isn't always realistic...so yes, I agree with you it will be so good for our mental health if we reframe our expectations. Hope you are keeping well and managing to be kind to yourself. As a mom, you have so much to do - you shouldn't feel bad if you cannot do everything you set out to do.🌻
Loved Dana's message! I think a lot of insecurity and anxiety people feel is when we are not being authentic or honest with ourselves. So when we are able to be our true selves, unapologetically, it is no wonder that is when we feel happiest and people around us can feel that too. People pleasing can be hard not to do, especially around the holidays, but it does a disservice to those around us. People who love us want us to be happy just as much as we want them to be, so we need to be honest with what we can and cannot take on. ❤

Winter solstice here in Portland was a gorgeous day even though the sunrise was blanketed by fog. It was nice to watch the fog lift and the sun shine. My little yorkie Lucy and I got out late in the day for a walk and to see the sunset. Lucy is so small she cannot jump up onto the couch, but I tell her whenever I have a lap she is welcome to sit with me. RoO is so sweet warming up your spot on the couch as he lays on the “blanket”, true - who could argue with that? 😉
Your parking reminded me of parallel parking on NW 23rd, likewise it was a crowded busy day. I was driving with my 2 grown daughters in my car and I just had to have that spot, the one right where we wanted to be. My daughters applaud me for my parking skills as did the ladies sitting in the bar at the window. They said they would’ve given up, I guess I love a little challenge now and then.
Landon’s dinner looked fabulous and that bit of leftover birthday cake was perfect. You all have such a sweet life full of mutual respect and love. Thanks for all of your wonderful videos sharing little pieces of your life with all of us. Happy Holidays!!!

Well it was another beautiful sunny day here in Portland today so I hope you enjoyed the sunrise and sunset for this winter solstice Morgan. I consider it a really special treat to go to a cafe and order a cup of coffee or latte and read a book or journal. Landon I loved watching you make dinner and I need that mac and cheese recipe! Looks so good and what a great idea to throw in some mixed cabbage. I like to add veggies I have on hand into pasta dishes too. I have one of those pots and prefer on the stove style cooking. Craving that kind of meal now. I loved Dana's message about being true to yourself even if it means rejection. Hello Morgan, oh i'm so glad i still have a few of your videos left to keep the christmas spirit going! It brings me such cosy vibes and motivation, perfect to start the day . Hi Morgan! I love to watch your shows. It makes me feel so calm. I wanted to let you know that I do not think that people are unsubscribing to your channel. I have noticed that when I check, many of the youtubers I watch regularly are suddenly unsubscribed from my list. Another person I follow mentioned that she was told this is happening and suggested that her followers check periodically. I check all the ones I watch now each night and noticed this happening a lot. People love you and would not drop off intentionally.

Loving your videos. They're just what I need. I wish I could show you a pic of the Christmas cup I got this year for my necessary morning hot drink: Organic Chai latte with extra spices. It's a hamster with a Santa hat, and his (her?) Cheeks are super full while munching a cookie! Inside the cup, it says "Cookies for Santa"! I couldn't resist! I got it, and now I'm enjoying my tea with one of my coziest blankets while watching your Vlogmas videos. And my terrier mix Torchwood, aka Torchy, decided to join me, yes: on the couch. We lost that battle ages ago. We love her.

Hi Morgan, we noticed that your new videos weren't coming up for us so we checked to make sure we were still subscribed. Unfortunately, there seems to be an issue with You Tube where we keep getting unsubscribed? Not sure if anyone else is seeing this. We just went into hubby's channel and it showed he wasn't subscribed either after he's been subscribed for a while now?
I've had that happen to me with channels I've been watching for years, especially if I'm watching them on my smart tv, I will click on the main channel to get back to the video uploads and the "subscribe" function will pop up, so weird!
Roo is an absolute sweetheart. Also, may I ask about the lovely dark blue cardigan you were wearing? It looks as though it may be handknit! (& the sun didn't rise until 8.20am this morning here. It makes my cosy bed oh so tempting to stay snuggled up in!)
