- This week rick and I head out for a much overdue scramble round the local greenlanes. Rick aboard his dad's old TriBSA and myself on the crusty 500 desert sled.
This was a nice video to film, a good time was had by us both. After all isn't this why we work on bikes?

Very nice, proper stuff with proper bikes 👍🏻
👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🍀
Great film and landscape!
I love England/ Scotland.
Best regards!
having a riding buddy makes riding 100 times better
Agreed mate! I'm all for solitude but having someone to muck around with is a game changer
Lovely ride. I may try to wake up my BSA Victor after watching this.
Just bought a B44E a few weeks ago. A bit more fettling a I'll be off into the hills and woods .
Great sound with headphones in
!
That was fun! Thanks.
Thankyou! Glad you enjoyed it!
Great video, I enjoyed coming along for the ride. Good to see Rick out for a blast too.
Best wishes, Dean in Oxfordshire.
Thanks Dean! It was great to be back out with Rick. The fun outweighed the cold!
Love the video and great to se Rick out with you. Both the bikes are awesome, i'm currently building a Bitsa bike i have a norton 650 engine in a matchless frame seeing what i can build out of spare parts i have accumulated
Thanks mate, we both had a blast! Sounds like a cool bike, that's what it's all about, making what you can with what you've got!
Good to see Rick up and about again
Agreed mate! Nothing to get you mobile again like a spot of offroading!
2 very nice bikes. Every time I watch one of your videos I start searching for old triumphs for sale.
Congratulations on hitting 1k!
Thanks mate! If I release enough of these vids hopefully I'll receive a message telling me you bought one! Ha
loved my old "Trumpy" must get another soon ...great video, enjoyed the ride, two awesome machines!
Great sound from the bikes on the lane's look like a lot fun.. thanks
Very enjoyable video 👍I came here because of Rick 's article in Classic Bike magazine. Both bikes handled the track s very well, made it look easy !
well done boys more 😁😁😁😁😁
I bought a brand new Rickman Bonneville in 1974. It was 800 quid.
Wow I can only dream of such things, £800 sounds like a bargain by today's money but it was different back then!
@@ColemanCustoms I had the bike a year and was glad to get rid of it. Nothing but trouble and everything was brand new including the engine.
I sold it to Bill Hoole motorcycles in Chester for 600 quid. He told me he was going to production race it but I am not sure if he ever did.
@@ColemanCustoms I was a fitter making 40 quid a week.
Sounds like a bit of an ordeal! Some bikes are just cursed, still definitely a bike on top of my "want to ride list"!
Looked like a great day out.Good to see Rick up and at it again.
That BSA job is absolutely awesome! Please make another video just about.
It's a cracking bike, the first British scrambler I had the fortune of riding! I think I will some time down the line!
I'm italian and I think we've got a few good bikes down here, but I have to say that british bikes are different class
Good video and a pleasure to see Rick again, even if it is on RUclips
Thanks mate! It was great to have him back out again!
those bikes are so beautiful, your land is also
Fantastic bikes!
He really needs a bash plate.
Didn't fancy Redgate then.😊
Them green Lanes looks so sick would love to go for a ride down them
When you make it down on your xl sometime I'll take you on a proper tour!
Fantastic video. Just finished my TR6 desert sled build. Not many byways round my way (Buckingham). I think I recognise some of the lanes you were on, where abouts are they? Thanks, John
Lovely old bikes the kind I grew up on learning to ride. Where are those green lanes , would love to ride them with my son .
Sussex??? See your triumph around I think
