TCMR - Class 37 Mileage Day 31/05/2024 (With an unhealthy 37043 on test)

The Class 37 Mileage Day on the 31st of May's Blue Timetable saw the final runs of the Smallwald Valley Railway visitor 37684 "Peak National Park" before heading home. The event also saw resident class 37 37711 "Tremorfa Steelworks" in operation to further complement this what is to be considered mini class 37 gala. The TCRC's new resident class 37 37043 "Loch Lomand" was booked for light loco and haulage tests with a demonstration freight train, However due to internal issues with the locomotive causing a rather horrible vibrating sound it failed its light engine test and was unable to perform its scheduled working.
