Still haven't read War and Peace by Tolstoi so none of the characters are relevant to me. At 16, the first time I ever held it in my hands I consciously decided I would read it when I had the intrinsic urgency to get to know it, that's how I usually am with books-similarly with people. It's all about instinct...
-Down and Out in Paris and London by George Orwell 1933
-The Monk by Mathew G. Lewis 1796
-Blood Meridian by Corman McCarthy 1985 - Movie Platoon 1986
    -Stoner by John Williams 1965
-Not a character but an author, William Faulkner. I love to hate him but I hate to love him even more.
-To Build a Fire by Jack London 1908
-Moll Flanders by Daniel Defoe 1722
-I'll do you one better: A disappointing cover with a beautiful book!
-I'm not even going to indulge in this question, NEXT.
-I have three answers for this one, none are related directly to a book but connected to the arts as a whole. They shaped me rather than made me reconsider an aspect of life. I prefer that premise. I cried all three instance and it’s safe to say I am scarcely ever moved to tears.
Whitnessing the painting of The Birth of Venus by Botticelli. Listening to the II Adagio del Concierto de Aranjuez in person. Watching the musical of the Phantom of The Opera two nights in a row.
Joder no he sido breve…! Here’s my contribution.
Ajedrez by Jorge Luis Borges 1960 ;)

Grix is fine!
