malwarebytes should get rid of that. if not id go to bleepingcomputer or somewhere use they have alot of different anti virus software. maybe you need to use Hitman Pro
You most likely enabled notifications from domains that allows them to show you pop-up scams. If it was a ”virus” Malwarebytes would most likely pick it up as adware.
I just cancelled malwarebytes after several years. I mean like 15 or more. I had 3 machines and only wanted to add 1 extra. It was so difficult to do, I just cancelled it after finally getting through to a human via chat only. It’s a mess. For a premium paying customer you need to have some way to actually talk to a human on the phone. The issue was so convoluted it was impossible to deal with properly in chat and that was after being forced to deal with an AI chat for the first hour. If you want my money, you can at least have a human to talk to as an option. I realize the other options are popular and I’d probably use them for some things. But for billing issues that doesn’t cut it.
I totally agree with this. I purchased the Identity Theft Protection feature, and when I realized that it was not supported in my country, I simply wanted to cancel it. Guess what? I was not able to talk to a human being. Perhaps this is the worst customer service you could get from such a big company/product.

Isn't Windows Defender a Firewall? So if you add Malwarebytes, doesn't that cover it?
Yes.
@@iroquois7550does malwarebytes cancel windows defender firewall or you use both simultaneously?
Same thought. Windows already have a firewall.

Hey! Take a look at this: support.malwarebytes.com/hc/en-us/p/contact_support I'm sure they'll help you out!
Is there a free version
I use it for free for about 10 years. As far as I know, paying is for supplements options like for example real time protection.
AVOID Malwarebytes version 5. The UI will drive you insane, as you can't disable the VPN upsell.
