@@TheLace It's a highest-quality system that penetreates 1.3m of armor (RHA steel), it can easily destroy ANY tank, Serbia is among 30 (or so) countries that use those anti-tank missiles. Serbia is buying the newest version Kornet-EM.
A great solution. Such a machine is capable of destroying even the most modern tank, but at the same time its cost is many times lower than the cost of this enemy tank
There is no tank that could survive a Kornet ATGM specially because of its 1300mm penetration power. Ys, but all ATGM's fail infront of APS. It's a bit of a cat and mouse Game.
@@rajatdani619 Kornet has dual missile mode. So two missiles hit one after another. Unless APS can reload and hit the same spot within half a second twice
2:30 So you just launch 4 Kornets against an MBT with Trophy type defensive systems I guess? Go the saturation route, simple and still very cost effective, a pragmatic economically viable 'low tech' approach. 😏👉
Does anyone think that multiple rounds from 40 mm L70 Bofors autocannon placed on something like CV9040 ICV can defeat a tank like M1Abraham or Leopard 2 ?
These are Russian weapons. Nato tanks will burn in fields of Ukraine. The Kornet was invented by Russia to specifically pierce through the armor of Nato tanks & it was proven successful in Syria where militias used it to destroy more than 10 Leopard 2 tanks
@@lambertmkz Indeed, I take it you have seen the burnt remains of Leopard 2 tanks with that damnable Deutschland Kreuz on them? Russia should take these to war museums in a dozen Oblast to inspire the future Army officers going through the academies and to remember on the 9th of May. Vpered Rossiya!
thing is they can do that just fine but military rules say no recording and if it is allowed it is delayed for release the reason is obviously to prevent letting the enemy know what you are doing and where you are.
@@NineSeptims Yah I was joking. There is battle tracking data often being passed between US vehicles and planes. Kind of a techno freak mistake made when the US figured attacking non electronics tech countries and people all sorts of data can be passed about and be depended on. The onboard drones some vehicles are using can be used to transfer live feeds to a unit commander allowing him to adjust fires and maneuver units placements. Kind of why I was joking in the first place.

this is a cheap... yet very dangerous and proven system.. capable of knocking out any modern day tank/IFV and bunkers etc....only problem its slow and its trajectory can be predicted and further it can be tracked and destroyed using upcoming APS... hope russia will make an improved version with top attack wireless capability.
It’s a very impressive weapon which can be employed not only in major wars but also in local conflicts.
My country, Serbia, is buying Kornet antitank missiles. I'm happy because of that.
Could Serbia not afford the much better quality American-made stuff?

It would likely struggle against a modern tank turret
The Kornets took out a few Turkish Leopard 2s in Syria. It is a very capable weapon in the right hands.

Great Video Work 👍🏻🇷🇺🇸🇪
GREAT THING 👍💪
After watching the war in Ukraine, I think the most effective system would be a guided mortar system, with cheap and plentiful munitions.
Seen the anti-tank mine they have that takes out tanks?...from above!

Did I hear correctly? Did you say that the weapon can launch thermobaric warheads? It looks a little small for that? Otherwise, very nice! 👍🏻
yes😊
What time Will the Russian jevelin launch?
Could system be Called F&F if CLU must track target while missile fly towards enemy and could not change it's position.
I hope Russia acquired these. They are definitely needed now with Leopards and Abrams entering Ukraine.

The mexican army needs some of those.
Can Kornet defeat active protection system?
Probably just fire 2 or 3 missiles with a very small time gap

Nope.

Why not put it on the roof on a sarmat 2 buggy.
