You didn't even have to speak. I could see the look on your face while watching Dan sing. Amazement, awe, much the same as the rest of us. He is quite the performer as well as an incredible vocalist. I do hope you will listen to his cover of Amazing Grace. It is like no other you have ever heard and it is so moving. Another amazing one is Time to Say Goodbye. It is a duet with a wonderful female vocalist, and it is lovely. At the end he speaks about why that song is special to him. Thanks so much for your great reaction and I do look forward to the next one.
A stage worthy voice and performance. Please check out Dans rendition of Gethsemane, it’s like watching a stage production. Many thanks for your reaction! Enjoy your journey of discovering Dans amazing talent! You will not be disappointed!
As seen here, Dan is not just an amazing singer but an excellent performer!❤❤ He really "lives" each song he sings. So glad you're enjoying Dan's work... Addiction is coming😃😉Looking forward to more Dan reactions, thankyou😃
Thank you for your reaction. Really enjoyed every second of it. Just watching you watching Dan, I know the feeling you must also feel. Would you kindly take the time to react to his version of Adeste Fideles. I love the power he gives to this song.
❤ lol Love seeing people who are just discovering Dan and his beautiful voice... I ran out of new words to try and describe, this man and his music, a long time ago. So glad you have found him... and glad you too are sliding down the Vasc rabbit hole. You will discover lots of music you may never have listened to before Dan, that you now love.... Thank you so much for your reaction to Dan. And welcome to the Vasc Nation.
You mirrored my exact reaction when I discovered Dan. Try more acoustic if you like: Scarborough Fair, Loch Lomond, his non-metal Priscilla's Song original version. Try: Nessun Dorma, its classic. The Last Goodbye (from the Hobbit) , Son of Pain, He has video playlists grouped by type, I had to sort of work my way into his total catalog slowly since I never really listened to rock or metal at all. Slowly I'm learning to appreciate various types of music I never believed I would like. Dan is able to convey his love of the beauty and passion in music like no one I've seen before. I agree with the other commenter who said you conveyed so much while you just watched. You didn't need to stop and comment during the video. I felt everything you did without one spoken word. When you did finish, you mentioned every little detail. Keep reacting. We need more like you!! Thank you.
What a masterpiece from Dan. I get goosebumps every time I hear this wonderful song from Dan. I could see the joy in her face.❤ Dan doesn't metalize everything and if he does, it says so in the description. Dan's vocal abilities and presence are simply amazing and fascinating at the same time. Thank you for your continued support and wonderful reaction to this epic song. Thanks for sharing...... Loved watching you react to this great performance by Dan. I think you just may be hooked. As I've said before Dan Vasc is addicting. Men, women, young, old, none are immune. He just has a quality that makes a person keep wanting more. Can't wait to see you do more reactions to Dan!
I don't believe that there's anything Dan Vasc can't sing beautifully. Such a gift to find his music. A couple you might wish to check out are Time to Say Goodbye - Andrea Bocelli & Sara Brightman Cover ruclips.net/video/7Yr6H1d5mps/видео.html, Nessun Dorma - GIACOMO PUCCINI'S TURANDOT cover ruclips.net/video/8ZkFeS9milM/видео.html, The Phantom Of The Opera - All I Ask Of You | Alina Lesnik & Dan Vasc Cover ruclips.net/video/9PMmqr1vDlE/видео.html, and "The Phantom Of The Opera" - NIGHTWISH/ANDREW LLOYD WEBBER cover | Feat. Dragica ruclips.net/video/HIxH3LiAy2A/видео.html. Welcome to the world of Dan Vasc. You're going to love it!
Dan is amazing! I've never been a fan of metal, until Dan came along. Dan sings quite a few non metal songs too though. Listen to The Hobits The last Goodbye. Just beautiful! Nessun Dorma and so many others. Thank you for your wonderful reaction to Dan! ❤
I loved watching your reaction! You should next listen to his duet of All I Ask of You from Phantom, also very beautiful, or even the aria Nessun Dorma. BTW, it's not the case that everything he sings is metal or "metalized," as you can see. He also does ballads, other Broadway, straight 80s and 90s rock covers, music from movies, and lovely folk songs like Loch Lomond or Scarborough Fair. With extensive classical as well as metal vocal training, he can sing just about anything - and does. I think you would enjoy his metalized version of I'll Make a Man Out of You, from Mulan. Great fun. Enjoy your singing lessons! At some point you will want to see Dan's mind-blowing Hallelujah Chorus, where he sings all four parts, in a chorus of 24 little Dans! Thanks so much for coming back to Dan. See you next time.
Thank you for your amazing reaction to Dan Vasc. Dan sings all genres of music and his covers always honor the original artist but takes them to a higher level. Look forward to more of your Dan Vasc reactions. Maybe we’ll hear you as Christine someday. ❤
I’m big smiling here… yes I know how it is to recover Dan Vasc… soooo amazing, versatile and so on… no words. And yes, Gethsemane, Nessen Dorma, Son in pain.. but I think you would like The song of the white wolf too. Have fun with this rabbithole 😊❤
Thank you for your reaction to this. Dan truly is a master of his craft. I'm going to London tomorrow for two nights and on Monday evening I have booked myself a ticket to see Phantom Of The Opera at His Majesties Theatre. Well, like everything I hear that Dan has done, I will be comparing the two. ❤
Pure awestruck joy on your face says it all. We've all been there when it comes to Dan Vasc. Music of the Night is my favorite one of 3 Phantom of the Opera songs Dan has done. He's also done the title song "Phantom of the Opera" with Dragica and he also sings as Raul's character in his "All I Ask of You" duet with Alina Leznik. All of them are amazing. Dan's a big fan of Phantom of the Opera. He is classically trained and even taught voice lessons at one time. Some other songs to chk out in this more operatic/classical line would be: Nessun Dorma, Handel's Messiah Hallelujah Chorus (One Man Choir), & Time to Say Goodbye (duet with Ren Stillnight). Another broadway song that Dan does a phenomenal job on is his performance of "Gethsemane" from Jesus Christ Superstar. Regardless of any theological issues anyone may have with the song, Dan's vocal & theatrical abilities absolutely shine in that song. I like it better than Ted Neely's version. Dan has also done more folk style songs like Scarborough Fair, Loch Lomond, The Last Goodbye, The Bard's Song, Lord of the Rings (Blind Guardian version), etc. His Christmas music really shakes up those carols/hymns, and we just listen to them the rest of the year, too. Although Amazing Grace isn't a Christmas song, it is a hymn that Dan totally transformed into what many of us feel is our favorite version of that beautiful hymn. A whole lot of us were introduced to Dan Vasc because of his "Amazing Grace" last year and started down the rabbit hole because of it. Some other more metal options to consider would be: Kiss From a Rose (metal version duet with Violet Orlandi), Mulan's "I'll Make a Man Out of You, all of his metal conversions of the bard songs from The Witcher Series/game, Sabaton's "The Last Stand" & "Smoking Snakes", Dawn of Victory (w/Dan's band "Fearless" and Fabio Lione former lead singer of Rhapsody, and many others. Dan is just a mixed bag of wonderful. Enjoy that journey of discovering everything he has to offer. Thanks for your reaction. 😊
I love that in your first two of Dan's songs you've reviewed, you spanned from his powerful, fun heavy rock adaptations, to this shockingly good version of the Music of the Night. The first time I heard Dan's performance of this, I had tears in my eyes. It is, by far, the most beautiful performance of this song I've ever heard.
There are just some of his songs and interpretations that I love, but 95% of the time, I can't get through them without goosebumps.and tears.💙 Beautiful reaction to a beatifully treated song.❤
This is the most flawless, perfect and wonderful version I have ever heard and seen ! Dan Vasc showed a Brodway level performance here ! Thank you for your really great reaction ! 😊
Hello my friend I’m so glad you are one of us now glad to have you aboard the Vasc train Nessun Dorma is another one when you have e time keep them coming Vasc Nation rocks
I'm not into your reaction part yet, but I had to pause the video and say something about your comment at 0:49 where you talk about not really needing a saxophone to go with "metal." That might be correct for SOME types of "metal," but not for every type. One type of "metal" music is "Symphonic Metal," which is one of Dan's favorite types. Recently, a WONDERFUL (Swedish) metal singer has gone solo. He had previously done SOME solo work, and he has also done a fantastic duet with Dan ( It's on Dan's channel as: H.E.A.T Cover with ERIK GRÖNWALL - "Breaking The Silence" ). Mainly, though, for many years back, has been in two different metal/hard rock bands -- H.E.A.T., and Skid Row (as lead singer). His name is Erik Grönwall. He is now recovering from Leukemia, after having had a bone marrow transplant, and is currently dealing with a brand new immune system. This has made it necessary to NOT be dealing with the things he could pick up, healthwise, on tour with a large band. One of his first home-studio videos has been "Rock singer performs I Will Always Love You" (which is based on the Whitney Houston version, but basically metalized). For Erik's cover of the song, he called on a very talented sax player, who does the solo that was inserted into Whitney's version of the song. He followed Erik's arrangement and lead, BEAUTIFULLY. I think you should DEFINITELY react to that video. Perhaps you could even offer to do instrumental work on future videos by Erik! - - - - - - - - - - OK...back into THIS reaction...FANTASTIC! 😀 You mentioned there at the end, that you, "...just wanted to follow him." My (youngest) daughter thought it was extremely funny when her 74-year-old mother mentioned to her that when Dan holds that final dissonant note SO beautifully and correctly, as the music winds down, and as he fades into the darkness, I just want to say, "YES! WAIT! Don't go without me!" I haven't changed my mind. 🤩 Thank you for the wonderful reaction. I hope to see more Dan reactions in the near future. 👍
