Many people might have not heard about breathtakingly exotic place of Balamauri which is located at our Scotland of India "Kodagu"
As soon as we hear about "Balamuri", we think it's the tourist hotspot of Mysore
It is located at a distance of 4 km from Murnad
As Kanva Maharshi, an ancient Sage of tretha yugha did the 'Pratishtha'(installation) of a Shiva Linga (formal worship of the Shiva) this precious place is been named as "Kanva Munishwara"
During rainy season, due to overflow of cauvery water the road is being disconnected
Kaveri Jaatra festival and Shivarathri Festival that takes place after the third day of Thula sankramana are pretty famous at this free
