A video on properties would most definitely be welcome! The query table feature is at the heart of all my project management in Logseq and properties is the way to go. I've noticed how often you mention your heavy use of them, it would be great to hear you about your system. Cheers from Brazil!

Thanks for the feedback. No promises on timelines, but here is a link to a tweet I published on the topic in the meantime: twitter.com/OneStuttering/status/1522587700548698113

Nice video again! I've been using Logseq for 2 years now I think! Time goes by fast! Still learn something new every time - I like the tip about using a query under a "refereces" parent for the topic. It's really neat (useful) and clean (when collapsed).

Great advice. It made me want to experiment more with the Query function. Many thanks!

Thank you for this overview. It was a great introduction to queries and something I can use to help colleagues with their use of Logseq, who knows they might also take your course...

how are you entering the query with autocomplete? I type in "/que" and select Query, but when I hit the return key it goes to a new line rather than select and enter the query

Can you do math operation on page properties? For example I have both a start and of the day property, and I want to have those both as columns in a table plus a third column that computes the difference between both times (thus giving the amount of hours worked).

I'm pretty sure I've seen someone do it before, but I'm not sure where it was now so I can't say definitively "yes"

Hey great video ! Btw… Just saying, currently there’s no Udemy courses on logseq!
    Would be great 👍
And thx a lot for all your free content!

Thanks for the comment. I do have a paid course (Logseq Mastery), but it's not available on Udemy :)

the queries like -1m -1m don't return me anything. Shouldn't it be something like -2m -1m?

Hmmm, you might not have any journal entries from that exact day then?

Vim tutor videos tend to show which key commands are used while you're talking.

How people use COLUMNS to text, image etc? I only have '#.kanban' and '#.grid' from a plugin!

They're likely using the toggle underneath the query to convert it to "Table View"

@@CombiningMindsPKM So they're querying the blocks in a 2 column table? But for this you have to have them wrote before, no? How to make it so akin to Notion, where you simply split the blocks in the same line?

    • @CombiningMindsPKM
      @CombiningMindsPKM  Год назад +1

@@Joao-de9gl Yes, they would have to have written them before. Unfortunately what you're looking for is not possible at this stage.
You could, however, use a markdown table, something like this:
      |Col1|Col2|
      |---|---|
      |data 1|data2|

@@CombiningMindsPKM Thank you. I've been using the markdown table and kanbans inside kanbans for now.
Any tip/news/doc/formula on this will be veeery appreciated
I use Logseq mainly for studying, so every way to compact and manipulate the layout between text, image, embeds, renderers, queries etc, always helps.
