Gen8 Axe Rebuild

What are we up to this time? Here is a real fun rebuild video of our newly purchased used Redcat Gen 8 Axe. Mr. Darkwoods enlists the help of the Joker, Ash and a few others to assist in the big project of our rebuild. The boys go out into the Dark Woods RC Park to find the Gen 8 that has been long forgotten in the old barn at the far side of the park. The journey is epic and the wrenching gets a bit crazy with a massive amount of aluminum parts, a hobbywing Axe R2 with 3300 kv motor and some sweet ACPRC rims on Mickey Thompson knock off tires. Mr. Darkwoods gets some wrenching done pretty quickly with all the crew helping out and a few visitors popping in and out. With the build all finished up the guys give it an epic test run. First on the rocks then to the freshly tilled garden/mud pit area. The footage is sick and the build turned out awesome. So give us some feedback in the comments on this one. What do you think of the story type video with all the different characters involved and the voice overs? Should we do more videos like this or trash the idea all together. I absolutely enjoyed the beginning of this video. The wrench and I do enough of that myself lol but you never know what you might learn. Keith, it was a really good video. Hope to see more like this. I love the nighttime mission theme!!!

Nice when it came out I wanted one but had already got a Gen8 V2 & they stopped making them but you can buy a new body still & make your own Axe Edition. And it’s nice because there are a lot of upgrades you can buy for them. Good to see the old Axe get rescued. We need more videos that tell a little story but maybe subtitles. 😂 🤘

@@Mr.DarkWoods I guess captions would be a better term like in the cartoons they the little bubble captions next to them. I’ve seen a rescue & recovery of a broke down Crawler before it was super cool love the props. 👍
