17:52 When repeating the Half Brioche, you need to stop on a R12 since its a 4 row increase but the Yarn Over (YO) does not count as a stitch on the R12. So the YO and slstch counts as one stitch. Hope that helps a little!

I kept getting bumps on one edge of the band instead of the v's. If anyone else had the same problem, here's how to fix it. 1.) for the final purl of row 2, they're putting the right needle through the loop from UNDERNEATH and BEHIND the back loop (moving toward the front loop) rather than picking up the front loop from above as you normally do in a purl. If you slow down the video, you can see how this is done. 2.) the pattern states to keep the yarn in front when slipping stitches, however, they keep the yarn in the back while slipping the first stitch of row 1. All other slip stitches of row 1 and 2 are done with the yarn in front. I tried both these things, and got the perfect v's on both edges of the band.
I just started the band and was having those bumps as well... so I frogged it... I noticed part of it was due to the second bullet that you pointed out but let me try the 1st because maybe that why I keep having the weird bumps. Thanks a lot!!!
Hi, I'm currently trying to make this cute bralette and I'm having a question. Which row should I end for the cups, after R9, R10, R11 or R12? Thank you❤
I keep ending up with 54 stitches instead of 53. Can you tell me what I am doing wrong?? I've tried 5 times and still can't figure out what I'm doing wrong :( Also, should the cup have 53 stitches after row 9 and 11, or row 10 and 12?
Just a quick thing, as far as I’m aware the yarn over and slip stitch is called a burp (brioche purl -> brp -> burp) and it counts as one stitch, so having a comma there is a bit confusing. You put “yo, slst” although the yarn stays at the back of the work, not at the front, like with the actual slst. Instead of “yo,slst” I would put “brp” or at least “[yo, sl]” so it’s clear that it’s still the same stitch, and that the existing stitch is only being slipped - therefore only sl - as part of the whole stitch, rather than it being a full “slip stitch” with the yarn in front. I hope this makes sense! :)
Hey nomadine85, I just don't know much about knitting and all the terms. But thank you so much I appreciate a lot and next time when I will knit similar projects I will use burp :)
hey girl, I have big problems doing the cup! I already unraveled it twice and did the exact same thing as you did in the video, step by step but I keep ending up with too many stitches! what am I doing wroooooong?????? have great night
Hey Mili. Are you familiar with "half briohe stitch"? If not just watch couple videos on RUclips and maybe try with scrap yarn. Cup is made with this technique and every 4th row you need to increase at the beginning and end of the cup (every time you increasing 4 stitches). Also note that 5 stitches at beginning and end are border stitches. I hope it explains more :)
@@handmadebyaura64 May I suggest pinning your reply to the first comment? I also thought that the increase was supposed to happen all the way through aside from the edges, it was not clear that it should be only four stitches increase each fourth row. So that means once we reach the repeat of row 9-12 for the cup, one increases by two twice, only “once” after and again “once” before the edge, in row “9”. That makes a lot more sense. It’s a really pretty pattern, by the way! Thank you!

Does slst mean slip stitch?
And do we do that as if we're gonna do a knot stitch? (I just want to be sure) thanks❤️

This is lovely! what size is this video for roughly?
