Yeah this team lacks effort all over the field and I have my individual ruin down below: -Silva needs to go this winter as he isn't doing anything to progress the attack -Muyumba has been out for awhile but even when he was in there is a huge lack of gameplay from him -our strikers are just below MLS level and lacking -Saba gives solid effort along with Slisz -Lennon gives effort but needs to be better with those crosses -Fortune is still a young player but want him to act like he is fighting for a first team spot. Honestly, there is no competition for him so why should he. -Our CBs are all oblivious in the back with no one understanding what they are doing and allowing runs right into goal -Amador and Miranchuk have the luxury of being new but that honeymoon will end quick. They are both doing fine but I would see Miranchuk as the stand-in striker just because of his height -Guzan has done what he can and I am not sure in Cohen because he is so uncomfortable with the ball at his feet that if Guzan retires we lose so much quality at the keeper position -Lastly, you look at the bench and none of them are worth a damn. Mosquera is the best we have to offer and he is the clearance at the dollar store version of Neymar on a good day. McCarty is solid but in the final days of his career. Past those two we only have united two players so I can't expect them to perform day in and day out in MLS. -We need clear up the two U22 spots from Ibarra and Sosa then sign a bunch of solid young talent. I think 2 DPs and 4 U22 DPs is the way we go so we have the $2 million in additional GAM to buy down a few borderline DP players (I see Saba, Slisz, and a new signing at LW for those spots). We need the striker and attacking midfielder (Miranchuk) as our DPs and pursue two midfielders, a center back, and a wingback for the 4 U22 spots. That is how I see us moving in the winter with Rios, McCarty, Silva, Guzan, Abram, and Hernandez probably leaving this winter. It will be a Chelsea lite winter with transfers but it is long overdue.
Lagerwey and players gave up on this team. Lagerwey is jist talking out of his arse about being back etc. He gave up and is looking forward to nedt year. Problem is that this year was suppose to be the "year". Will next year also be another rebuild and throw away year and they'll be lookibg forward to 2026?
