I bought these two lamps a while ago and to be honest I think they're great. I use them as my main household clocks. Plus from a preppers point of view, you've always got a lamp/lantern to hand, just in case.
However I see their real value coming to the fore when I go camping.

I've had the Sinvitron for awhile now, it's amazing! I lose power every now and again, and it's come in handy! But, I literally use it everyday just for the time and the temperature on it. So worth the purchase!
I completely agree. They're my go to clocks around the house, not to mention when I head out camping 👍😁

I came across this on amazon's black friday sale and thanks to this video it's going to be the replacement for my (20+ year old) recently broken alarm/clock-radio. Cell phones now-a-days are good for the alarm part but I like having a clock on my headboard and this is gonna be perfect as it'll also function as a flashlight and a powerbank. If anyone in the US is reading this today the "Sinvitron" brand is on a large discount on amazon for black friday.

It's a little large but I like the idea of having ambient light for such a long duration between charges great for bug-out
On winter camps these have been brilliant for lighting inside the tent 👍😁
I have one and I noticed that the power block gets extremely hot when I charge it. It's not hot enough to burn my hand, but it's not something that I would leave unattended.
That's interesting. I've not noticed that being an issue.
@mick salau I was using a 2.1 amp charging block, now I am using a 3.0 amp charging block with no issues, other than it simply does not hold the charge above 50% for more than 2 days. However, it does hold a charge at the 50% level for months.

@mick salau I've tried that as well and the block got too hot to touch safely. The back of the package specifically makes it clear that the lights can only handle two amps or higher. I even thought about using a different kind of USB cord. I know it's not a one-off or simply a defective product as I have four of them and all four of them behave the exact same way.
The light does work well, it just has a few weird quirks to it. I'm not happy about it not maintaining the charge to pull power more than two or three days though, but it does serve my purpose for a light when I need it.
@mick salau I've come to the realization that I am probably better off with just a dedicated backup battery like ankor and a USB camper light. It may be two devices, but it seems to be the better way to go.
Be interested how long the battery lasts on max brightness, as one might be useful when I’m woodturning in my shed

I purchased one from Amazon. Firstly I was disappointed because it was advertised as 15,000mAh and the one I received was 10,400mAh. The seller told me there was a mistake in the website! I said the instruction leaflet stated that it was 10,400mAh however to my surprise and notwithstanding the lower battery capacity it will still light for 500hrs on lowest setting, so if that was the case I was happy. Being the control freak I am I had to test it, and on lowest level it lasted 230hrs before the led display began to blink showing the battery was discharged..... so what do you make of that????

I’ve got 2 of these. They both went to low battery and will not charge. I’ve replaced the cables but they still won’t charge! Can anyone help?
What have you used to charge them? They prefer a trickle charge, an old 2.5a phone charger is ideal

Do you mean, to charge the light itself? To be honest I'm not quite sure. It's a 15000mah battery and it will depend on what your 3 using to charge it with.
How do you turn it off? I can't seem to get the screen off.
The right hand button as you face the clock cycles through 3 light levels and off.
On the back, the same bottom used to turn the big light on also turns it off 👍😁
Does rhat also turn off the screen for you or just the light? I don't seem to be having any luck turning the screen off just the lights! Thank you for your help

any way to adjust the temperature, mine reports about 5 degrees less than it should... otherwise great product.

How to make the clock and temperature disappeared?
Press and hold the left button on the front for about 3 seconds until the screen goes off. It's the button used for setting the clock. The clock digits will flash as though you're setting them but keep holding it and the screen turns off.
Turn it back on with the same button.

this lamp is supposed to be 15000Mah but i can only charge my ipad that has 8827mah battery once plus 10% same with another device i have im tempted to look under the hood, be interested to know what charge other people get.
What voltage are you using to charge it up? If you're using a fast charger that's known to reduce the output. You need something slower like a 2v to get the best out of this 👍😁

30W Foldable Solar Charger with the USB A port with same results, did yours manage to charge devices to the correct amount?
@@gooseywhispers yeah I've not had any issues. To be honest though I've never monitored how much I've got out of it because i permanently have the clock and backlight on, and in winter they were my tent light.

How do i turn off the lcd screen ?
With the screen facing you, press and hold the left hand button for 3 to 5s. It will go to 'clock set' then turn off 👍
