Thank you for your videos, I watched all the routes for 2 days then made a mental note of each routes and possible challenges. I passed on my first attempt! Route 1 - Turns left and right from the test centre. Route 2 - Turns right from the test centre, goes down the road with many bumps and turns left. Route 3 - Turns left from the test centre and left again to join the National Road. Route 4 - Turns right from the test centre, goes down the road with many bumps then turns right again. Knowing what to expect really helps and anticipating the next instruction. Mine was Route 3 so I was aware of the National Road and how I will need to exit in front. Thank you again
Legend! NEEEEEEED this video! You're videos are brilliant I'm after having to change test centre from maple house to mulhuddart so after watching the maple house ones on repeat I'm now watching this and your other mulhuddart one on repeat! Missed my test 2 weeks ago because of gridlock traffic 🙈 so hoping being an hour early in the carpark will help with the study 😂
Awh thanks so much for this lovely comment and I’m sorry you missed your test.. maple house 2 is out during the week so stay tuned 🤩🤩 Best of luck next time you will nail it
So I've had an American driving license for 13 years now. I've driven in close to a dozen countries, never had any accidents. I moved to Ireland this year and am in the process of getting an Irish license since they won't convert mine directly. I took the test in Finglas and failed. I can't believe how much more difficult the standard for testing is here! I find it interesting because it doesn't seem the harder barrier of entry is leading to better drivers on the road... I'm looking into booking a retest in Mulhuddart or Maple House now, fingers crossed second time's the charm!
20:24 Hey, if you enter the box on a green light expecting a green filter light but it goes red should you exit to clear the junction or wait for the next green light to come. Thanks
@6:32 hi, I hope this is something you can answer. If I was going straight through that roundabout and the bus lane was full of cars who were queuing early would it be better to enter the bus lane behind them or stop at the arrow and wait for someone to let me in and potentially obstruct traffic turning right. I’m not sure what the examiner would expect me to do
@khadeshanajjair7872 I've applied for test in January 2023 and estimate now is January 2024. So I'll be waiting for a full year for my first test... I really don't want to fail it after so much waiting. Fingers crossed you'll pass yours🤞
Hey driving is driving a right turn in Mullhuddart is the same as a right turn in Naas. Once you know what the test is looking for you will have a better chance of passing
Great helpful video mate quick question at 5:05 at the right turn how come u went into the left lane first and not the right after making the turn and just wondering would it be a fault if u went in the right line
Hey bud The left lane is the preferred lane on a 2 lane road bud and yes you could be marked for position on the straight Check out this video about 1 minute or so into it I explain it ruclips.net/video/zzuMfFjszyw/видео.htmlsi=hcZUImG626yaiGLY
Thank you 👍 A small question, who knows is it possible to have a translator with me, I am a newcomer here, I am learning the language but I do not have a very good level, who has met with such a problem, can someone help me with an answer. Thank you very much👋

At 5:28 , would you lose marks if you stayed in the right lane ? Thanks boss
Possibly a grade 2 for position on the straight. Left lane is the preferred lane
Nice video with explanation
Glad you liked it
Really helpful, thanks!
Thank you so much Tina glad you found it helpful… best of luck
Thank you for the video it's really helpful
Is it 50 or 60 when you go out from the test center to the right?
What do I say in the video I don’t knoe
It seems like a 60 that drops to a 50
20:24 Hey, if you enter the box on a green light expecting a green filter light but it goes red should you exit to clear the junction or wait for the next green light to come. Thanks
Your only job is to get off the junction
Turning right at the yellow box junction

Move in when the bus lanes ends bud it’s the rules. You would be ok to shave a few meters off but don’t force toy drive in it
At 4.48 when u go right at traffic lights why u bus lane but the car infront of u use the ist lane and u use 2nd lane?
Don’t copy other drivers they are not doing their driving test. You need to do the rules of the road to pass your test, not them
Before moving off at traffic lights, do we check all 3 mirrors or only the side mirrors (left and right), regardless if we’re turning left or right
Hey bud I like to check left and right checking for cyclists and motorcycles
I use inside mirror for slowing
do you have to signal while doing a reverse parking?
Hey no you don’t have to
Thank you❤.
Whats you think about Mulhuddart routes? Im due my test there next year. Apparently they have worst passing rate so im a bit stressed
I failed twice there, my next test is in maple house mulhuddart so fingers crossed 😅 it's so nerve wrecking waiting for it
