hubby never understood my obsession with large bags, as I am 4ft 10 in. until he saw the Chanel maxi on me. we both realized that big bags don't look bad on me when they are dark colors, especially black. my goal is to get a maxi and a B35. also melsoldera rocking that big BV bag is a true dream and she's a shorty like us. so that's another bag I want now lol.
I think big bags have always been here to stay. They call for a specific occassion as well as smaller bags! 😍 The Birkin 35 is the holy grail travel personal item piece 🤩 but Inwould never!
I have a black Birkin 35 which I have never used because I always felt it was too big (husband gift), but I’m your height and build so you’ve inspired me to stop wasting it and start using it. The white shirt, black trousers and bags cut always look stunning x
Have you ever tried the Goyard tote? I bought the Goyard Artois and I absolutely love it, it has leather corners and a zip. I usually wear very neutral outfits and I got the blue for a pop of color. It’s so hard wearing too. I would definitely recommend for summer 🩷 I’m petite too and I love the jumbo on you. I want to try it now 🤗
I’m short as well and love my big bags. I have quite a few totes. I think I will sell some. They take up a lot of room in my closet. I think 1-3 is a good number for me. 😊
I have a jumbo single flap in black caviar and ghw…with the wider CC version which makes the bag look even more stunning. Sadly I don’t use it therefore it’s in excellent condition and I held onto it for investment purposes! But yes my point was single flap are lighter in weight and hold more than the double flap jumbos ❤

Im interested in getting the Dior Book Tote in Toile de jouy in reverse. Ive look in the presell market but the wear and tear seems to be excessive, and the bags that are in great condition are close to retail price (fyi I'm in Canada). so my question is would it be better to purchase the bag brand new and keep it, or wait and find it preloved? (I dont resell my bags I tend to purchase to keep them long term)

I love the dark colours I think they are easier to style and go with different outfits for different seasons, you are not limited. Lovely collection
