Naan calzones have gone international---by gum we've done it! That was an elite calzone execution, a work of art. Thanks for the love brother, always love your content and camp ethics. Canada 2025 🤔
Really loved the history at the start and talking about how the early accounts often talk about the bush being like a garden. Those paintings of the indigenous mob doing burns were great. Also that's the first time I've seen a shot of a wedgie watching a goanna taking a dump 😆
Awesome video as always. I recommend that to clean the camp spot, especially in a cave, that you break a branch and wipe the area with the leaves, then throw it on your fire to keep the mozzies away. You'll scare any nasties hiding in the sand away. That's what we were taught to do when camping out bush. It's worked for us for thousands of years. I hope your new addition to your family is doing well.
Great video! I camped at the same place for a few days about a month ago and did a walk about half way down the creek adjoining the main river. I explored as many caves as I could and took photos of all the rock formations and beautiful scenery, just amazing and so green. We may have even been there on the same weekend, I parked next to an overnighter's 4wd on the ridge back at the property for my day walk. Like yourself i hope to go back there soon and make it all the way to the main river and explore more caves, what an stunning place!
You took a beating with the biting ant and cactus on this trip! Carrying a leatherman comes in so handy out in the wilderness. Adds a little weight but the pliers with cutters are invaluable and comes with a decent knife for a backup. That tool has saved me more than any other item i.e. fixing broken zippers on tents, packs, sleeping bags, unscrewing cap for superglue to fix hole in inflatable kayak.
Scotty, I grew up in bush like this, with the sandy crystal clear creeks and sandy caves, in NSW. I’m older now, this was delightful to watch. Brought back so many memories. Thank you ❤
Simply marvellous place you've had the privilege of exploring. No shortage of things to discover. well documented and utter respect for nature as always 🤙🦅
I absolutely love this video, the goanna, and wedgie part my favourite 😍 closely competing with the piglets swimming across the river and Scotty's obvious enjoyment of the entire camp. Thanks for sharing Scotty's, made my day 🎉
Thanks Scotty, enjoyed that one! Super interesting country mate! Animals seemed to enjoy that it was open too. I often lament the loss of grassy banks and open river flats from the places I know - great to see a river that provides a snap shot back to rhe old country.
The Aussie Bush never fails to impress and I have been lucky enough to see and experience a hell of a lot of it and I never tire of seeing some thing new having said that I have seen a bit of the Blue Mountains over the years but every valley large or small always has something new to offer. Thanks Scotty for taking us along with you .
That is a gorgeous place Scotty. Well done for keeping it private. Wow. The birdsong is beautiful too. Where i live once there is any light at sunrise, the blackbirds sing. I love it.
Scottie, thank you for showing us some of the beauty Australia. I hope you can keep it a secret. I know you know, the trouble with piglets is their mom. A long time ago, in a land far far away, I had some run around me, down a dry creek bed, on their way to the main creek. Their mom was huge, walked up to me, growled at me, then walked away. Does everything there want to stick, sting and bite? Had a cactus stick me and festered for days…aggravating. Thank you…from an old vet, retired in the US, hills of east Tennessee.
Man oh man. Scotty you never fail to deliver how stunningly beautiful your country is. Cherish it mate. In the future, when little man is big enough to explore it with you, you’ll have some incredible adventures & memories to adore. Thanks again for showing us. - Andy
Great episode Scotty, what a magic place. The wedgie and the goanna were a highlight. Not often you would see a wedgie that close up let alone seeing the interaction between the wedgie and a goanna. The wedgie seemed pretty keen to keep an eye on that goanna 😊
I’ve been watching you for years, since COVID or so. Had Akubra hat advice and own one, bought a tarp and a mattress from Australia. But that cactus. F’ man. I felt that in Canada. Put your boots on bud.
Bitten by a demon ant, evicted by kangaroos, and stabbed by a cactus; still a smile on your face and a plan to come back. So awesome, thanks Scotty. The whole time I was watching this, was thinking, why don't we use whatever kind of grass that is here in the states? no mowing, and it's beautiful. Have a lovely week.
Great shots of our spectacular outdoors. Love your adventurous spirit, would so love to join you. Thank you for NOT swearing about that painful cactus, hope you're OK? Don't you love this beautiful country of ours 🥰. Keep up the videos 👍🏼👍🏼
Gidday Scotty... I have been following your adventures for a little while now and absolutely love it. You have a great knack of telling & filming your adventures plus giving me a few ideas for when I go out. keep up the great work mate - stay safe and travel my friend. Legend :)
Enjoyed this trip... when you caught the 2 little piglets playing and then swimming across the water that was so cute! That bird is legit a dinosaur, def bigger then the Canadian bald eagle. Cool shout out to Xander and John, it would be awesome if they both went down under and did a canoe trip with you or vise versa, you come to Canada and do a fishing trip! Hope it happens! 🙂
spectacular country thanks for sharing scotty the pleasure is all ours! Hope all going great with the new addition too, its a tough gig, especially the first. Awesome way to regroup and recharge with what you are doing. Thanks again! Love it 🍺🍻
I love Xander's channel, I think he's mentioned your channel as well at least once!! I don't know why Im so excited, this doesn't involve me in the least hahahaha
Stunning area, and all them caves. For those that don’t know, it’s called Kiwi Fruit 🥝 (grown in NZ) as New Zealanders are called Kiwis, colloquialism after our National bird “the kiwi”
It's Autumn in Canada, the leaves are coloured and falling. The American Bald Eagle has a wing span of 2.44 metres, and a weight of up to 6.3 kilos. Not sure what your eagle measures up to, but they are a beautiful bird, aren't they? Your scenery is spectacular. Thanks for the video. Hope those cacti spikes all got out safely. Cheers.
That’s a tiger pear (Opuntia aurantiaca) cactus, We have them on our property and that’s the reason we walk with pliers. They travel on kangaroo’s feet.
Class video Scotty! Never thought id see an eagle watch an iguana taking a dump 😂 but that was pretty awesome 👌🏻 look forward to your next video mate 👍🏻
Great video Scotty!! The eagle and the goanna were amazing! And seeing that cactus in your foot - ouch!!!!! I had to turn away when you pulled it out 🤢😂
Bitten as well as stabbed by the only cactus around, you couldn’t make it up but that aside the scenery was stunning and you certainly seemed to enjoy it. I would return to that place too. Take care, keep safe. ❤ Dorset, UK
First time I have seen a person get bitten by a jack jumper ant on RUclips. One of memory not so fond memories of having been there myself and yep I screamed like a little girl when it happened. My wife thought I’d been taken out by something more serious I screamed so loud 😂😂😂.
What beautiful countryside! Lots of wildlife. The pigs were cute. The calzones looked really good. That cactus in your foot looked so painful and pulling it out looked even more painful. Ouch!! You're going into spring and here in the U.S., we're going into fall. Really enjoyed the video, thanks!
Naan calzones have gone international---by gum we've done it! That was an elite calzone execution, a work of art. Thanks for the love brother, always love your content and camp ethics. Canada 2025 🤔
What the world needs is a Scotty - Xander - John collaboration video! Make it happen, Scotty?
Scotty’s canadian adventure :)
Scotty and Mattsy do Canada?
I think you Scotty should take birdneck and John on an Aussie adventure 😈🥰 That be something special 💞
Oh I agree that would be a fun video. I love when Xander and John do something together. It's always really special.
That would be a dream trip. One of these days I'd love to get over to Canada for a canoe trip with them boys.
i am a simple man, i see a new scotty video, i click and enjoy!!!
Me too
This is the way
Great video Scotty. Thanks for shouting out the local mob and shining a light on traditional practices of our country.
Really loved the history at the start and talking about how the early accounts often talk about the bush being like a garden. Those paintings of the indigenous mob doing burns were great.

How do you do this and not get lost? And how does one find these places? This type of camping looks really cool.
Scotty, you missed your calling as a cinematographer, some of those aerial shots, absolutely stunning , keep the awesome content up.
You took a beating with the biting ant and cactus on this trip! Carrying a leatherman comes in so handy out in the wilderness. Adds a little weight but the pliers with cutters are invaluable and comes with a decent knife for a backup. Human curiosity and the urge to find out what's around the corner is what took mankind out of Africa. Great adventure, Scotty. Thank you for posting.

Have been foloowing you for years! My love for Australia just keeps getting bigger, thanks to you - Thank you for the amazing videos
Lovelly vid as usual
I wish Brisbane had places as nice, open, and grassy as this. All we have is dense bush land in our mountains 😭
I was gardening and didn't have my glasses on. Yes Jack Jumpers. I got 13 bites and had to lie down for a while....
The most perfect place so far!
Great video as always.

Cracking video. That prickle was brutal!

Just stunning scenery! For me the call of the Currawong is just all about camping.
Thanks Scotty
Such a nice vid mate ❤love it thank's for share!!
Awsome video mate, could you do a behind the scenes video of how you find places like this, get access planing the trip?
So beautiful! Do you know what now keeps the grass looking mowed? Is it from the animals grazing or?😂
Class video Scotty! Never thought id see an eagle watch an iguana taking a dump 😂 but that was pretty awesome 👌🏻 look forward to your next video mate 👍🏻
Yes have discovered Lost lakes and Xander n Maxim youre all great lads. 👍👍👍👍Thanks for sharing. Cheers from Northern Rivers.

Magic country, I'm slowly heading that way.❤
Wedge Tail eagle has wingspan approximately 2 foot greater than the Bald Eagle
Great vid champ.
Parabéns pelo acampamento. Lugar incrível 👏🏼👏🏼
First time I have seen a person get bitten by a jack jumper ant on RUclips. One of memory not so fond memories of having been there myself and yep I screamed like a little girl when it happened. My wife thought I’d been taken out by something more serious I screamed so loud 😂😂😂.
I felt the pain (the cactus), took me back to my childhood treading on them. I was grey around the gills with you.
Great video scotty, good to see you out bush. Great time reflect and appreciate life. From new dad to new dad!
Cheers from Brissy!
Yeah beautiful creek
Thanks for the great video!! Hope your family is doing great!!☺️
