Nice patch (and nice playing!). Ever thought about mapping a slider (maybe #9) as a second modwheel so you don't have to reach cross-body to change it? Not sure how well that would work with them not being in sync, but maybe with them set to Pickup...
Hey Brian, David here- thanks for your message. Modwheel position and substitution is definitely something each player should consider. Ryan who shot this video seems to prefer using his right hand while I usually use my left (I'm left handed). I've also used an expression pedal at times but generally I'm pretty comfortable using my left hand. Thanks for watching!
@@SundaySoundshey David, can I purchase a custom patch from you ? The song is called El Señor Está En Este Lugar Edición Especial 20 años by Marco Barrientos. 😮
Yes, you can use any knob or fader that sends MIDI data in place of the mod wheel. Just make sure to follow the instructions on our blog for a tutorial on setting that up.
Not sure whats wrong, The Rev Piano just dont work the same for me. Everything is flawless but some pad and Rev piano keeps lingering forever and when comes to this part @10:18, it just sounds awful. Is there a fix for this?
Hey there, there is a lot of ambience in the background, so you could try decreasing release times and rever sizes if you’d like, to taste. Our team would be glad to help if you’d like, please contact us via our website.
Hello there! How to called this effect at the 9:39? is it a reverse delay or kinda? I would like to know for replicate this on the guitar, I like the atmosphere that you can find it, but I have no idea replicate it without to getting know what is effect is for me try copy, and then bring to my guitar. Very nice tutorial! Thanks!
There are a few ways to go about this. You could just cut out some of the "less essential" channel strips that don't fit. Or you could separate the patch into two patches-where one patch controls certain sections, and then the second patch controls other parts that you could not fit at one time. You would need to move the layers, and potentially chord trigger mappings, a bit for the second method. We do recommend using at least 61 keys as the minimum for our song specific patches though. Please let us know if there is anything else we can help with!
Are you asking how to play it on your akai 61? I believe you mentioned earlier in the thread that you have Sunday Keys, you can just drag the patch into your concert and it will appear towards the bottom of the template in the "extra slot".
Do me cover play that song without attachment or patches.. listen I'm very happy you have the skill to play key keyboard piano.. but it is not right for does beginner that can't. Not get pia o sound that way because special hook up
Would this patch still work if I muted the piano channel? I am the keys player at church tomorrow but we have a piano player as well. I don't want to take his job.
Hey Matthew, in this video Ryan is using Yamaha HS8's, Behringer Truth B2031A's and a JBL LSR310S sub. There are tons of great options out there! Check out our gear finder for a curated list: sundaysounds.com/studio-monitors
Sunday Sounds I have tried it, it's really great. One more question. Which patch could you recommend me to get more from it? (To investigate setting, sounds) I need some patch with lots of settings to learn from it) Thanks!)
I’m Brazilian and this was the best tutorial that I ever seen! Thank you.
Best tutorial I've seen is John 3:16 😏
I was finding for some tutorials but this one is the original main stage play where I can see how the piano lead is done
Hi. How do you manage to keep a consistent tempo during the big drop since there is nothing keeping a consistent rhythm during that section?
Thanks
what to do if I only have 61 keys?
Our song patches are designed for 61 or 88 keys!
Which kind of piano gives that reverse piano effect

Hey I just bought this exact keyboard. What programs do you recommend that works on a Windows laptop?
Ableton Live is a great choice!
Buenas tendrás only keys de la canción completa por favor???
Hi, I'm not sure exactly what you're asking. This patch is in the original key of the song Oceans.
have a question, may I know if the akai LPD8 knobs could be use as a modulation on MainStage :) great patch, just purchased it and is simply amazing

this is amazing. Would there be any way for a foot pedal (maybe like a wah) to take place of the mod wheel?? Or anything like it
Yep, you can use an expression instead of the mod wheel if you'd like!
what if you only have 49 keys
You'll need to adjust and play parts creatively as its designed for 61 and 88 key keyboards.
Qual a marca desse teclado?
Akai MPK 88
Alas, I have a windows.

Hi, yes it's been updated for 61 or 88 keys.
Muito bom. Very good.
That WAS WONDERFULL! How did you learn all of this?

What I want to know is the name of the pad sound. It has this wah wah sound when you sustain
I only have a 49 key midi...How do I get a patch like Heart Like Heaven to work on 49 keys?

Do you have an arrangement for Key of C?
Do me cover play that song without attachment or patches.. listen I'm very happy you have the skill to play key keyboard piano.. but it is not right for does beginner that can't. Not get pia o sound that way because special hook up
Kah?
What if I only have a 61 keys keyboard?
We have recently released a version 2 of this patch designed for 61 keys and including Easy Transpose.
Thank you man, It works perfectly!
Would this patch still work if I muted the piano channel? I am the keys player at church tomorrow but we have a piano player as well. I don't want to take his job.
Jessica Barber yes, it’d work just fine. Simply mute the piano channel strip.
