    Amazing! Since going whole food plant based I've been struggling to find healthy dessert recipes. This is something I would have never thought of. Thanks again!

    Fantastic,i love your in-depth,detailed and comprehensive style of explaining! It fills my need for depth of information and understanding,beautiful :) I will give this a try soon.
    Do you have thoughts on using frozen foods in such recipes? Or is it just a matter of preference?

      Thank you very much for your heart-warming and meaningful feedback :)
      For this specific recipe of the avocado pudding, using fresh ingredients is best and will make a big difference in the taste, texture, and consistency.
      If you wish to use froze ingredients, then you will want to keep them frozen and turn this into a kind of "ice cream" rather than a pudding, which you can do using a high-powered blender, like a Vitamix. You would not want to thaw the frozen ingredients to make this, as it would really be too watery and negatively impact the flavor and consistency.
      However, if you want a true "pudding" experience, you will want to use fresh ingredients only.
      Best wishes!

    This recipe turned out very nicely during a test run the other day, and I just have an Oster blender. :-) Thank you for a great recipe! Making it again tonight for a family dinner. :-))

      Great to hear you enjoyed it, Zarina. And yes, you can keep it in the fridge even for up to 2 days.

    Yummy. can I give this delicious pudding to my 10 moths old baby?

    • @Healthytarian
      @Healthytarian  3 года назад +1

      You can but it is best to exchange the cacao powder for carob powder. Cacao is a medicinal food and better for children that are a bit older, as it can be overly stimulating like all chocolate products.

    You can also just simply use a Cuisinart. Little less expensive because Mark probably get one at a thrift store but that’s what I use and how do use Cuisinart food processor is for years before I got my VitaMix

    • @Healthytarian
      @Healthytarian  5 лет назад

      Yes, thank you for sharing the tip, as a food processor can be quite adequate for this type of mixture too.

    How long is it good for in the refrigerator?

    • @Healthytarian
      @Healthytarian  4 года назад

      Usually, I recommend keeping any blended whole plant foods made of fruits or vegetables no more than 24 hours or so. It is not because they go bad, but because eating them fresh is best and provides the best flavors and nutrition benefits. The longer they sit, the more nutrients they lose.

    Can I find these ingredients at Target or Walmart?

    • @Healthytarian
      @Healthytarian  4 года назад +1

      Yes, you should be able to, as long as they have a good enough grocery section. The produce section will have avocados and dates. They all also stock non-dairy milk today, and cinnamon and vanilla are common ingredients in the spice and baking sections. They should also have pure cacao powder in the "healthy foods" or "natural and organic" foods section. Hope you get to enjoy it!

    is there a substitute for plant milk?

    • @Healthytarian
      @Healthytarian  3 года назад

      If you want to substitue the plant milk, then you can just use water. However, do note that there are numerous types of plant milk available that you can use to make this treat, including almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk, cashew milk, soy milk, and a few others.

      Thank you very much for the feedback about the video and the sweater. I actually still have that sweater as I love it so much! It is so practical, versatile and warm. Unfortunately, it is getting worn out now and I wish I could find another like it myself but it was from a small unique store and a rare find. Cheers!

    I make my chocolate pudding with the same ingredients but I add a pack of silken tofu and some rum it is so good and creamy and you don't need any milk my husband loves it. We bought some from the store made with almond milk it was ok it wasn't as thick as mine it was very expensive and it ran my husbands sugar through the roof. I will stick to making as much homemade as possible.

    I think i would add bananas and spinach to it, maybe some berries

      If adding bananas make it too sweet, though, you can eliminate one or more dates.

    Hi, I'm Arabian and the dates is called " Majdool " not Medjool 😊. Thanks 🌺.

    • @Healthytarian
      @Healthytarian  4 года назад +2

      Thanks for that tip, Miko, however please note that throughout Canada, US, and Mexico, packages of these dates are labelled "Medjool" and pronounced as such. There are many names, whether of foods or people that are different in their country of origin compared to another country where names, pronounciations, and spellings are commonly changed.

      Then the videos on this channel are probably not the best option for you, as I teach people about their food and not just show them how to work with them. But the good news is RUclips offers all kinds of options and I trust you will easily find what you are looking for elsewhere :)
