- A veterinary team has successfully darted an aggressive male orangutan and must now prepare for the sedative to start working. One problem: he’s at the top of a tree, and a fall like that could kill him.

@Pull UP! After they shot the orangutan down, they would still have a lot of work to carry the orangutan out before he would wake up. So the narrator said "they are not out of the woods yet" = they are not done with trouble/still more work to do. But they were physically standing in the forest (woods = forest) at that time, therefore the narration was so funny. "not out of the woods" can have different meanings. For example, Hillary Clinton was said "She will not be out of the woods" = She will stay with her retirement/She will not take a job with the Biden's administration, if Biden wins the election.

Its a propaganda made by the western companies because palm oil may potentially defeat other oils in the market. Thats because oil palm produces the most oil per acre compared to any crop, leading to much cheaper price, and the season in Indonesia is tropical, meaning unlike in 4 seasonal countries Indonesia or Malaysia can produce oil to cover the need of cooking oil the world has with palm alone.

Orang-outans have an important role in biodiversity. They régule invasive plants, développ others and their poo is very usefull
Next to the net..they should use unfolded box cartons--under the netting to break the fall....carton boxes; easy to transport in the boat (folded) and light weight.
If the orangutan brachiates from tree to tree while it was under sedation, carrying and unfolding boxes on top of carrying safety net would mean extra work that requires extra time for the technicians. Boxes have to be unfold and arranged on the ground. Nets on other hand can be unrolled and the men can hold the edges if they didn't have enough time to tie it on the tree. Also, how many times can they use carton boxes after orangutan fell onto it?

He's in an training pre release area and they are capturing him to release him into the actual wild. They literally state this in the video and the comments. Please watch the video before spreading misinformation.
