Different issue: If You haven't already, You should check out some of the videos with Otis Spann ("This is the blues" is an example You shouldn't miss). Otis Spann unfortunately died already at age 37 or 38 but he recorded several great blues & BW piano pieces for us to listen to now some 60 years later.
