    Looking good Brad! I absolutely love watching your projects. I love it when things are level and plumb. I was always taught to do everything to the best of your ability. Seems like you always go the extra mile to do it right.

      Yeah, about that. I bought a case of snack cakes but on my way home, I was attacked and the snacked were stolen. All of them. I can’t describe who it was because they all wore hoodies.

      @@bctruck outside San Diego humidity is so low swamp coolers work really well and a ton cheaper than running air conditioners.

    Man it looks hot. It's been muggy as hell up here too, I don't mind it when I'm not working... but I'm getting old I guess, working in the heat wipes me out.

    Go to harbor freight and get a set of those aluminum truck ramps. Can use it for your truck and to wheel the generator out of the shed

      I have ramps. Once I get it up in there, it will be infrequently as possible that I’ll take it out.

    Not going to go anywhere for sure. But I do have a question. Are ya sure you need to drive that grounding rod into the ground when you probably have one already in the ground on the other side of the skirting. You did say that the power entrance was on the other side of the wall.

      No, further in by about 6 feet and the ground rod is around the other side of the house.

    Hey BC, long time no chat. So, I've been looking at a generator for my house as well. What made you decide to go this route? (Portable generator in an enclosure) I'm considering going with Generac. Their 7500 watt home generators start out at 2k and go up from there. 2k for a home generator already in its own enclosure isn't bad at all I think.

      I went this rout because it was the most affordable for me, I have no natural gas, I can move it to wherever I need it and it’s easy to replace or upgrade if I ever have to.

    Don't you have a set of ramps? Instead of lifting up the generator...roll it up the ramps.
