There was a previously unreleased studio version of the song featuring Lzzy Hale doing back up vocals and singing the second verse alongside dueting the chorus. Now this seems to be a cover, with the roles reversed. Lzzy singing the main vocals, brent doing backings. Simple as!
Coming back to these videos existing since the late 2000s and early 2010s. Maybe the last great era of rock music. Still remembering the thrill of discovering new bands on RUclips after watching MVs on TV. Miss the thrill of those times.

Except it isn't. This version is actually Halestorm (the whole band) covering a Shinedown song and having Brent Smith on guest vocals. As stated in the description, it was part of a Halestorm special survey, not a Shinedown survey.
That would be an incredible album. Lzzy has an amazing voice BUT Brent has such strength in his voice that she doesn't 'bully' him out of the song. I'd love to hear a collaboration album between Smith and Hale.

They both did a version of the song, obv. Brent originally wrote it but gave Halestorm permission to record their own version. Lzzy and Brent are friends, so I don't see how there would be an issue and why everyone on RUclips is making a big deal when they aren't even batting an eyelash at the fact. Grow up people. Its a good song anyway, just enjoy it.
I've watched them both live SEVERAL times & Amy cracks at every single live show. So you clearly aren't as informed as you think. I've seen Lzzy over 30 times & she hardly ever cracks, even when sick. She also tours 300 days a year while Amy doesn't .
@Melanieshaman Nahh, Hes lip syncing, in a live breaking inside video, Brent "sings" the wrong lyric, but the song says something different. Myles may not sound exactly on par with the album, but whats the point if they sound EXACTLY the same, its just not a "live" experience. Kennedy is touring and making an album with Slash, and has done work with former Zeppelin members(Page,etc). Somethings working for him.
