Did a dps calc and thought I'd mention it here, with seers ring in max mage you have a 50% chance to land ice barrage, taking kodai and upgraded ward only bumps that up to 54%
ty for method been using for 200kc so far. you could bring zam hasta to get kc + save charges/gp, but mainly to spear spec ranger next to mager if you kill you meleer first to kill minions quicker.

Thats strange, ive heard this same thing from a few other people. Theres sometimes when i splash on graardor 2, sometimes 3, and VERY RARELY 4 times in a row but for the most part ive had really good luck catching the freeze on the 1st or 2nd try. Im wearing max mage, literally every gear slot i have the highest mage bonus possible. Anything less and i could see problems arising. Sorry its not working out for you.
@@reverb2516 maybe just bad RNG then, also make sure your staff is on accurate, every little mage bonus helps! But ofc that little +3 bonus is only going to make a diff like .1% of the time XD
Has graardor had a silent buff, as I’ve been doing him daily for past 4 weeks and over 2.6k kc average 16 kills per run with shadow and max mage depending on food/restore drops, but today dated 24th July 23 he seems to never want to catch a freeze and shadow seems to miss a hell of a lot more than usual. have jagex buffed him or nerfed shadow silently?
Must be nice to catch a freeze, literally every f time I do this I splash 10 times in a row in the exact same gear max stats and get absolutely fucked in the behind with 20 cacti 50 hits or a constant range 15-16-15 when I would dare to switch to melee pray. Insta-sold my shadow after a day of realising what a piece of shit weapon it is when it's absolutely useless if you can't freeze.
Nope, but it kinda looks like it. Its my parents dog, Hank; and hes a rescue mutt. If I had to guess hes mostly lab with a little bit of pitbull and bulldog or something like that, hard to say.
nice trick but more people would understand WHY they freeze if you said and show them about how any monster bigger than 1 square has an actual "core" square in the far south west. If the 1x1 core square is right next to some other 1x1 monster then they both freeze. For anyone using runelite, plugin "npc indicators" highlight true tile and highlight south west true tile then shift+right click an npc and tag them to show their 1x1 tile. This is also for dwarf cannon edit: oh you did highlight graador's true tile but you can barely see it on the ice

Update: Now with DT2 the Ice Sceptre increases freeze effectiveness and accuracy by 10%. HUGE in terms of getting freezes to land.

catching a freeze was essentially impossible lol started feeling like zilly except i was splashing barrages and getting slapped all the time

can you do this method with a partner that melees the boss or will it cause bandos to agro him?
If there's multiple people in the room and graardor cannot reach the person hes trying to get to, he will switch aggro i believe.
