Hey guys, this is a follow-up to my video covering the M60 (M40 replaced) machine gun, and AR-10 DMR (R-63 Diligence). You can find that one here, enjoy: ruclips.net/video/dKXFAVBPJlc/видео.htmlsi=yJ58huRTY4Njmi9R If you'd like to mod the game yourself, I released a full tutorial on how to do so, featuring some of the mods in this video: ruclips.net/video/vQ3f1A8Sxww/видео.html
@@kebabit707 These are wholly cosmetic visual/audio mods. They are entirely client based and affect no one in the game. If it was an issue, Game Guard would stop me from even launching the game. This isn't cheat engine or hacks or anything like that, nothing gives me an advantage. I also have seen that the CCO and Arrowhead are fine with them when they are this way, especially when they were talking about some Star Wars mods back in the day. Always an inherent risk, sure, but I just want to show off the amazing hard work of the mod authors and how I've been enjoying the game recently.
@@Akabane101 oh and also I recommend trying out the gatling instead of machine gun sentry as it has a higher rpm while doing the same damage and armor pen per round (specifically the mg has a fire rate of ~11 rounds per sec while the gatling has easily over double that with ~26 rounds per sec) only downside being the higher cool down but I personally find that it's perfect since I always generally have it back up and ready to use at every nest while when I take machine gun I end up often having it off cool down a lot of the time while not having any enemies around to make it worth throwing in, but that's just my preference and ofc you can take whatever you want!
You can use them online with no issues. It's all client-side and visual/audio modifications, so it affects no elements of other players (which is the best kind of mod). They wont see you using this equipment unless they have the mod, it'll just look like the default gear. So it's really great for that. I'll see about showcasing some multiplayer matches when I get some time to do so. :)
@@Akabane101 I got the ranger mod working right now, holding off for like an M4 mod to be made, me and the boys might do a halo thing tonight though, lol. Thank you for listing your mods also.
I'm using an ultra-wide 21:9 screen (3440x1440p), so my FOV is surprisingly low, only set to 60. I find this is a happy middle ground of not so wide that everything feels like I'm looking through a vortex, but not too narrow that I can't see more than a couple degrees either direction. Not quite sure what 60 FOV for 21:9 would translate to for 16:9 screens, but a quick chatGPT result says it would be around 73 vertical FOV, or 94 horizontal (in other games). Hope this helps at least a little, happy diving! 🙏
1.0.4.0 doesn't seem to load so I just went and downloaded 1.0.3.0, that works still. I think I'll try to get a video out this weekend detailing how to get it setup if you're still having issues. Hope it works out for you!
@@Akabane101 got it to work! Dude I stopped trying to mod HD2 because of how much of a hassle it was but that mod manager is a GAME CHANGER. More people need to know!
@@sometimesidoneatthings7563 I'm glad to hear it! Yeah, I don't think I'd be modding without it, there's so much you'd have to do manually. The great thing is you can just have it turn all the mods off in case you're running into issues by purging them. I hope you have fun!
A great question! As all of the mods are client side, meaning, they are locally installed on your computer, only you will be able to see the modded gear and equipment, same as the audio. Other players will simply just see you with how the gear would look normally. However, if they are wearing the gear you modded, you'll see it on them as well. These mods are purely audio/visual and they change no aspect of the stats, enemies, etc. In short: Only those with the mod installed locally on their machine will see the mods. If it's not installed, then they wont see anything different. Hope this clears it up a bit!

Right? Some of these mods are really top notch. Such a great community and I can only imagine what they can come up with in a year's time.

There all visual so you can use them online, would be cool to have a full team running the same mods just for consistency
