First, you need to create a Google Analytics account if you haven't already. Go to the Google Analytics website and sign up for an account. You can do this by clicking on the "Admin" button in the bottom left corner of the page, selecting "Create Property," and following the prompts.
Next, you will need to copy the tracking code provided by Google Analytics. Go to the "Tracking Info" section of your property and select "Tracking Code." Copy the code that is provided.
Now, go to your Google Sites website and select "Settings" from the three-dot menu in the top right corner of the page. Under "General," you will find a section for "Analytics." Paste the tracking code you copied from Google Analytics into the "Analytics tracking ID" field.
Click "Save" to save your changes. Congratulations, you have successfully added analytics to your Google Sites website! You can now track the performance of your website and gain insights into your audience's behavior.

I think in the past 48 hours that I have been breaking my head on how to connect google analytics, your video has been the best so far. In some videos they have asked me to download Wordpress via bitnami, install code reader and then what do we do with the tag generator code given to us?
Arentb we supposed to install it via cms or manually to the webpage in order for the data to show up in the analytics???
Still so much of confusion for me. but thank you for this. If it works without the headache of the code, then this is gold.
