- Sissel talks about her newest song "Free" Released on Friday the 10th of March 2023.
"Free" is the first song released in 2023 and is part of a new trilogy written and produced by Sissel and Ernst Ravnaas.
The trilogy is named "Big Questions", and as the title indicates, the songs focus on some of the big questions in our lives.

I really like the music, but more than that are the lyrics. Sissel is really using her platform to bring light to the important issues of the world. I think this is God’s plan for her now. I look forward to the next two songs.

Yes, there are many things I agree with but sometimes you need to be free of many times. Your song is beautiful like you 👌🙏
Perfect. First, we've to be conscious of our limits, then we can practice our freedom. Know your self and obey to God, to your conscience, and that's all. Follow the example of Socrates and Jesus.
Most of my life I felt trapped. I became free when several things came to pass: (1) Freedom from substance dependence/abuse; (2) Development of a prayer life; (3) Life purpose that most suited my personality. That is, dropping alcohol & tobacco, praying continually & (maybe sounds corny, even phony) going out everyday asking God to make me a blessing to everyone whom I see & to fill me with love as much that is possible to receive. And this in the context of retirement, good health & good friends. I was mentally ill most of my life, rescued by antipsychotic/antidepressant drugs & prayer. So here I am at 88, pretty healthy, content, no worry of what people think or say of me, mentally at peace. Have had a life of extreme stress so would say to anyone who is struggling, seek professional help. And, in my case, perhaps most important of all, looking forward to crossing the spiritual Jordan River.

I suspect that it is HIGHLY unlikely that you would EVER get an answer from Sissel to THIS question ! One of the qualities that make her such an astonishing and incredible person is her humility and modesty. I doubt very much that SHE sees herself as you, I, and others describe her !! 🥰🙂
