She found a way to stay for another 3 months and 6 weeks in singapore, respect ✊
Haha true tho but in jail
Does staying in prison will extend their overstaying
I don't get why she couldn't apply for long-term visit pass again as the mother of the child studying in Singapore. The child cannot continue to study in Singapore? Also how does she have so much money even though she is not working?
Quite a number of missing plot points in this story.
@@chrisl9934 The son would have attended university and 18 so would not have be eligible to apply for it. The mother was more the housewife type that got a lot financially in divorce settlement so does not work.
@@chrisl9934 her ex husband lor give the money meh
Marriage of convenience is a crime. Real marriage is done for inconvenience.

@@hafizkamaruddin7843 Yes, they always do that in Krabi, Phuket, Songkhla and also near the Tiger Cave Temple. Ends up kena beaten by the Thai masters.

Hilarious 😂😂😂
I love how they keep repeating "Mother of a child studying in Singapore on a student's pass scheme" at 5:10 😂
Bet it took a number of takes to nail that.
Kinda like a tongue twister lol
1. The claim that she will visit the fake husband's place during the weekdays when her son does not like him already gave it all away, as the flaw is obvious. The fake husband could have said he would visit her place on the weekends.
2. The policemen in plain clothes taking photos of Zhang look like stalkers sia
Singaporean really don’t know how to cheat
They need proof of their daily activities.
Find a Singaporean and get married. Solve all problems. Real marriage.

i love the "zhang fengyu" voice overs!
Acting in this episode was actually quite good
In the US, it's rampant. Los Angeles especially. I was approached in a supermarket by someone, being friendly and nice at first then after 5mins, starts saying if I know anyone who wants green card. 30k for marriage. she's a lesbian so she said she can do any genders.
Da fudge. Who paid for marriage
Trending topic : good . Sham outsourcing marriage are run by international triad. That’s what I heard long ago from a uk staying friend. It’s very sad if a woman falls in love with a single man not knowing he was already sham marriage participant.
maybe they wouldn’t have gotten caught up if they simply told the guy that jason is trying to move into her apartment
when the police ask, they dont even live near each other and how they met each other, im like… y u so kaypoh. its jus like that sometimes lol
Yah sia got dating app also
Fact checking is not wrong for an investigation tho 🤡
hahaha ya lo, last time i also ldr. tho no more, ever.

I like how they dubbed when the indian officer saying zhang fengyu
What's ironic is that for most Singaporean men, this is the only way they will get married
Yes it is. Most of our local Chinese and Malay uncles such as PHV drivers, security guards, cleaners and retirees prefer to marry Filipino or Indonesian women. Those who earn abit more, will go for Vietnamese or PRC women.
What a sad country then aye

The investigation officers can stalk their subjects ah? I thought it's illegal to take pictures without consent...
???
Its the police bro
Yeah, you might as well argue that the police force and the military are committing the offense of possessing firearms, including things like grenade or even C4 and other explosives😑If you are not in official business/duty,yes,I agree with you, that is stalking...But if you are,how can people say that you are committing a crime of stalking?
It's the authorities bro.
If they sus you for doing something sus, they have every right to spy on you to find dirt on you for a bust.
Actually, it's not in fact illegal to take pictures of people in sg. As long as it's not like an upskirt pic or smth liddat.
it seems ppl dunno what's the role of the marriage witness.. its like oh someone ask me to do it.. so I did..

very big shame
marriage is suppsoed to be filled with love not one sided benefits
Your right bro, this is a marriage scam
Attention all GUYS
Firstly , I just got divorced.
Sadly I was not given any monies for the matrimonial flat.
Reason because I trusted my ex wife by asking her to pay the mortgages and she was a foreigner.
Whether she is a foreigner or not.
My advice to all the GUYS IN SINGAPORE
DON LET YOUR WIFE HANDLE THE PAYMENT OF YOUR MATRIMONIAL PROPERTY CAUSE IF YOU DIVORCE MOST LIKELY THE COURT WILL GIVE TO HER.
DON LISTEN AND YOU WILL REGRET
Wait. Did she pay the mortgages from her own money ?
Or did you give her the money to pay the mortgages ?
We can imagine how hard it is for ICA to prosecute such cases which require them to prove the intentions of people..
How could they have left such a big loophole uncovered?
They broadcast Chinese Nationality but in actual fact there are dozens of Vietnamese girls living in Singapore on such convenient marriages and living in Singapore evensince year 2010, that I know of and now they have become agents and earning a living doing only this business until today by bringing in more Vietnamese girls on tourist visa into Singapore then within a week or two get them married. Fortunately these girls are smart, they live in the same flats. How are you gonna catch this culprits? 🤔😅
Man this is depressing
They should work as love counsel
I was wondering if they can call for their lawyer? Like if they don't confess, they got only their words as evidence.
Judge is not dumb and there are many such precedence. Judge is never going to believe their story.
IKR? you never talk to them without your lawyer present. law101
i feel like it's not a thing in singapore. only in american crime shows i've heard about it...
This isn't America.
Is it just me or does this seem super sketchy… the lady living a high life without being employed and being divorce. Someone with a high social standing would not have to resort to such means. Singapore welcome anyone with money, they probably even offer her a long term visa. she’s probably working in a shady dept, kenna complaint then they investigate. Come on la… u think the government care to stay together or living under a bridge as long no complaints they don’t bother.
Can’t they just wait like a month then apply? Lmao after 1 week of cos suspicious
Their backgrounds/profile doesn't match too
@@dionnelson9919 background cant say anything ba. my partner and i 9 yrs apart, so diff, interest also diff.
Then change address to the same before going ICA... if so, are the officers so smart to raise red flags other than addresses?
right. It's like in all these episodes everyone is afraid of lying😔
That's why the IO said they are amateurs 16:33
That lady (well, the actress who played her) is a cutie, I’m sure she could have easily trapped a Singaporean man into marriage legitimately😆
i love crimewatch.
Sometimes they closed one eye
What do you mean they closed one eye? The ICA?
Hmm the actress Zhang looks very familiar wonder if i had seen her in our local dramas, she was much younger back then.
If not mistaken she played a supporting role in the Mandarin drama Holland V. The role she played, same foreigner from Mainland China seeking a LTVP lol
I don't blame them. It's the system's fault. Marriage is such a flawed idea. If she wants to live in Singapore, let her live in Singapore, she's no harm to anyone, is she ?
At least let her speak the language… what use will she be, she’s stayed here for years but can’t speak a word.
In Malaysia aaaa same i.c is also known as a marriage of connivence especially for the artis. Village people say to 'tumpang senang one' laaa
Submit application . Just keep meeting twice a week until application approved ! Thank me for the solution
Judging from what they are wearing at their ROM, anyone could tell they're planning a marriage of convenience.
Is it a sham marriage if you are happily married for 50 years, stayed in the same residential address for 50 years and have great grandchildren?
I'm not so sure about this but can't she apply for work permit and still stay in Singapore with her child. She can work in beauty salon or any beauty industry even if she not well verse in English. She can work in Chinatown or areas not necessarily have to speak English. I feel she is high standard to think of working here..
What a Shame on sham marriage indulges in Chinese national, especially money is concern.
Le Yao looks gorgeous wow
The ICA officer sabo kia
If want to keep the job as ICA officer, then must be a sabo king. Otherwise no case for Singapore government. Just like when you saw someone throwing baby in the rubbish chute, but you ignore it and walk past pretending nothing happened.
ICA officer.............knn...........wana be investigate office ah......so Kpo
Why do not Singapore have a new laws which protect people from scams. Such as turning off online purchase by default like international swipe card .
Singapore must disable Internet Banking including PayLah, PayNow, Pay Anyone to prevent scams. Also, disable the online method for SingPass access.
Pls sign the marriage certificate, the marriage certificate, the marriage certificate lmao 😆😆
Very dangerous. Like my cousin, she marry ah Moh. Ah Moh never get the PR, end up he divorce her and a kid with her. Ai yo.

Let people marriage. Fake marriage will become real because of such commitment putting 2 strangers closely together. HaHaHa. I hate it when govt violate people's privacy. Let people do what they want as long they are not doing bad things. They just want to stay at another country legally. Govt should give people freedom space to stay.
It’s the law
U not happy move to other countries
10:27 wah the lady officer understood what is she saying in Chinese
Alot of officers can actually listen and understand a third language, speaking it is different
Then later in Malay lol
Just marry for another 3 months stay. Not worth it. Should go for the P.R.
hope mediacorp can find some resemblances to the real culprits instead of some random ah gao ah mao actors actress
They should have gone for a Muslim man. Going by Muslim practices, the man is allowed to have up to 4 wives. He can do this 4 times at max without being questioned! It is perfectly justifiable to have multiple different addresses due to the multiple wives living at different house to prevent the wives from fighting/quarreling/arguing when they all live under the same roof.
just asking, are you a muslim? you seem to know well
@@ryy4659 It’s common knowledge
They must find rich willing Muslims. If not very fishy
Wakakakakakaka
Waaah I didn't know now the ICA are also in enforcement on being kaypoh twrds ppl's marriage.
7:13 onwards is a compilation of rich vs poor.
Great job for that ICA officer, vigilant officers are the frontline heroes in combating scums exploiting our system. Lol now those scums will correct their mistakes after watching this.
I thought I was hearing things at first but I need to ask, why the voiceover when the female investigation officer said the name Zhang Fengyu?
Was her pronunciation of the name that bad that they needed someone else to say it for her?
If what she said was understandable, why do you think the post-production team is so free to do the voice-over? Some Chinese words are hard to pronounce for non-Chinese speakers e.g. they’ll pronounce ‘Yu’ as ‘you’. I dunno what’s the fuss about the voice-over. The post-production team simply wants accuracy with the pronunciation.
When shooting the scene, the camera man wouldn’t pay attention to pronunciation. The post-production team feels that the voice-over is necessary after the shooting so there you go.
What if both really love each other and she decides to apply for the pass. They still gonna investigate and charge them like that. Cmon Singapore
That is true, really makes me wonder what raises the red flag…
The fact is it is a scam.
spend so many man power and people taxes to investigate this small case
