But...visually, effects, explosions, and sound (soundtrack) wise, Troll 2 is no comparison to Phantasm Troll 2 is a backwoods horror movie with very bad acting (all it's actors).... but watchable Troll 2 won the "best worst horror film" award for a reason... lol Phantasm is a highly entertaining ride...with great effects, gore, bad-ass car scenes, dream sequences, and explosions... I like part 3, because he's the original Mike... in part 2, the major film studios told the director he could only bring back "one" character.... the director thought it was easier to bring back "Reggie" and re-cast a grown-up Mike (as someone else)... since kids can look different when grown... the whole love thing with Liz and a new Mike were all studio decisions.
It took me a minute to realize that this was the OG Mike. So initially I wasn't feeling him BUT when I realized who he was, it made me feel more connected to the character. So, I'm going with the OG actor for sure!
